GoogleFSS were engaged by our lender to carry out a survey on a property we were purchasing. They took weeks to deliver and it had numerous errors, not least the fact that they somehow lost several hundred square feet. This adversely affected the valuation by around £85k and placed us in a difficult situation with our lender. They finally admitted to a mistake after resolutely denying any error. Frankly I find it hard to believe they are RICS approved, the level of professionalism was sub par.

GoogleAppalling service .I genuinely do not know how they get any clients.There seems a ridiculous amount of staff with nobody taking any responsibility, and are full of bureaucracy.Their fees are really high and the only thing they are excellent at is spending other peoples money.

Great staff and very friendly Since moving in we had one minor issue and this was attended to within 24 hours These are the best letting agency i have ever dealt with, would strongly recommend them

GoogleWe reached out to FSS to sell our 4 bedroom detached house in Harrogate. From the first call through to successful sale the whole process could not have gone better. The little (free) extras that FSS provided made the difference between a great experience and an amazing experience, these included; A preparation for photograph service A preparation before viewing service for each viewing block Collation of viewings so we were not inconvenienced Recommendation of a speedy conveyancer Retained control of the sale process throughout As a busy family we really valued the efficiency of the team at FSS and were of course pleased with the final sale price which was above our expectations. Thank you FSS, I would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends who have a £850,000 plus house to sell in Harrogate.

GoogleAt the end of a tenancy and after checkout, my deposit (held by FSS) was to be returned in full. 18 months later I have not received a penny from FSS. Initially, FSS claimed they were not responsible for holding the deposit. After I challenged that, they eventually admitted that it was their responsibility and moreover that they were required to handle my deposit in line with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). They have singularly failed to do that. I gave them my bank account details for repayment, which they ignored. And if that wasn't bad enough, after 16 months of silence, FSS have now made a claim that they gave my money to my estranged partner. Who incidentally, paid for nothing during the course of the tenancy and certainly didn't pay the deposit. I have had to resort to the Small Claims Court to get my money back. FacebookCalled to arrange a viewing for a 1 bed flat. Was told in no uncertain terms that someone would need to view it on our behalf in order to let it for us. I can see during lockdown that they did virtual viewings but now only a whatsapp call is available and still would need to visit in person. We live 300 miles away and cannot just pop up on a whim. Have phoned around Harrogate and only one other letting agent had the same ‘policies’ everyone else has been very polite and helpful. The lady on the phone was brisk, rude and unhelpful and not interested at all in helping us. You have missed out on reliable tenants who have been in their current property for 8 years, have employment in Harrogate already and are ready to move. Avoid!!!

GoogleFSS save us so much hassle. They are always on the ball, dealing with financial checks on prospective tenants, interviewing them, showing them round etc. They carry out inspections before any tenant leaves and give us photographic and written reports on the state of the decoration etc. They promptly tell us when any tenant has reported a problem and they have contacts to deal with any problems if we do not wish to deal with it ourselves. They have also sorted out disputes with utility companies. In short, they are extremely efficient, professional and good at what they do.
