Have used Intercounty for years now for our rental property. The reason being "Helen White'. Can not fault the service she provides - professional and trustworthy and always cheerful and happy to help with any concerns you have, taking the pressure off of what can be a stressful experience. I was very pleased with the way Caroline, james and Luke from the Braintree branch manged my let.The property was presented excellently both on the internet and on the brochure.From start to finish everything was very professional and helped me to make the right choices regarding the tenants.Very well managed and helpful. Nice people to deal with and they were the agents who were first to find us a tenant, but the management fees are the highest percentage we have come across and we are having to chase for them to complete services offered and requested well before check in date, which is complicating matters relating to changeover of utilities.

As a landlord letting a property through this company they charge you for unnecessary services without seeking approval and then have the audacity to take the money from your rent without your agreement. They certainly do not have your best interests in mind, just how to make more money out of you and increase their own profits at your expense

Estate agents are ok, good communication.Lettings - as a landlord I wouldn’t bother paying the extra to have them check your property as not convinced they actually do by the way mine was left in, trying to get some deposit back for cleaning and repairs was stressful, very much on the tenants side and not the landlords!!

Thank you for feedback Victoria, it enables us to continually review what we do. Certainly it is frustrating if a property is not returned how we as agents and yourself as a landlord would have wished, however this is the purpose of a third party checkout and I understand it was noted within this report. I believe at this point our property management team were able to obtain quotes, agree deductions with the minimum of fuss from the vacating tenant and get a prompt payment made.
