We cannot thank the team at Fortune & Coates enough for their very hard work throughout our whole moving journey. After a frustrating 3 months on the market with another agent and barely any viewings, we contacted Dan who was immediately available to come and value our property. The following day we were on the market with Fortune & Coates and the viewings were piling up. Within the month, we were sold! It was a bumpy journey to say the least, with our first purchase falling through at the last minute; Sara was there the entire time with compassion and understanding of the difficult situation. Back on the market again and sold within a week, Sara worked so hard for us to get on the move once again! Finally this week we exchanged and are completing next week and we would not have got through it without Sara! Answering any texts and calls all sorts of hours in the day, and on days off! The good reviews for this company is not what I've recently experienced. They introduced me to a prospective buyer who said she was a "cash purchaser" and on this basis I accepted a lower offer than I really should have had, because I had lined up a property that I really wanted to move to. She wanted me to remove my property from the market, which I did do. But it turned out that she had not committed to the purchase and she was still looking around, so she did not provide F&C with the details they needed to do a Memorandum of Sale. I believe that F&C has colluded with what she has done and were helping her with her "waiting game" in order to get me so anxious to sell that I would lower the price even more. I am already disabled and at 76 yrs of age the distress this has caused me has made me quite unwell. Because I took the property off the market many weeks have elapsed, during which time I could have sold the property to a genuine purchaser in that time.
