When the status of their properties changes to either 'let' or ‘sold’, we request they mark the property as 'Let agreed' or ‘Sold STC’ on Zoopla if this is the case, but unfortunately, it seems sometimes this is not always done immediately resulting in our users finding listings in search results they did not expect. Listings generally take no longer than 24 hours to disappear from the website after the agent has requested its removal unless there was a technical error which we would be able to confirm.Our aim is to ensure that all information on our site is as comprehensive and accurate as possible so next time you see this it would be very helpful if you could select the ‘report listing’ option on the listing’s page (via desktop site). We will then investigate the issue further by speaking to the agent advertising the property. We have recently upgraded all price estimates from the Zoopla valuation model to a newer model developed by automated valuer specialists Hometrack. Hometrack, which is part of Zoopla, is the UK’s largest automated valuer of residential property. Their data is relied upon by 85% of UK mortgage lenders today.When changing from one modelled price estimate to another, it’s natural that prices will change, with some properties increasing and others decreasing in price estimate. Some of these changes will be small (e.g. less than +/- 10%) while others will be larger. Above-average variations will be largely a result of changing property characteristics and the comparability of the property to the local market.However, we do want to give our users the most accurate house price estimates possible and we’re always looking for new ways to improve.
