GoogleI think the place is overrated. You have to wait in line for half an hour to get in, which raises expectations of delicious food. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very mediocre, the omelette was cold, as was the hot chocolate. Most of the ingredients (like those in the salad or dips) were also cold, as if straight from the fridge, making the meal quite unpleasant to eat (it felt rushed and poorly prepared). Honestly, you could easily make something like this at home. As for the service, our waiter essentially forgot about us while we were waiting for drinks and food. Due to a system error, neither the kitchen nor the bar received our order ticket, but the waiter who took our order didn’t seem to care that we were sitting at an empty table for 40 minutes. The situation was saved by a wonderful waitress (from France 🫶). She checked everything, made sure we got our order quickly, and compensated us on the bill. If not for her, Farm Girl would have been a huge disappointment. Thanks to her, it was only the food at Farm Girl that ended up being disappointing.Food: 2Service: 4Atmosphere: 3

GoogleWe had the chicken salad which was delicious! Banana bread was dry and matcha coffee could’ve been better. Location is lovely for outdoor dining.

GoogleOrdered Seoul eggs and Rose matcha latte. The Seoul eggs were nice but the matcha latte was too sweet. Sunday morning bunch, had to wait 10 mins for a table but when I went to the toilet while waiting, I noticed that there were 2 empty tables in the back room. Not very efficient in seating customers. Cramped tables, service was quick but we only had 45 mins to eat. Staff seemed unenthusiastic. GoogleI've not been here for a couple of years, but it used to be such a beautiful experience. This visit, the food was lackluster, in fact, part of the chicken schnitzel sandwich was pink and undercooked. The butterfly matcha tea tasted like slightly flavoured warm milk with no embellishments. It used to be an delicious butterfly tea taste, with dried flower toppers. It was an incredibly disappointing experience to what it used to be. And we brought international guests here to experience what turned out to be mediocre food. GoogleLovely place with outdoor seating. The coffee and fresh mint tea were great. The eggs are really good, you get a super yellow yolk. You can add sides such as mashed avocado which was super tasty. I’m taking one star off because my poached eggs arrived pretty cold and beverages are on the more expensive side. GoogleWould honestly prefer to leave a zero star review. We stood outside the cafe from 8:20-8:40am. It supposedly opens at 8:30am. When we knocked and asked if we could sit inside at 8:35 we were denied and told to wait another 5 minutes with zero explanation. I would trust the reviews that state the lack of customer service. It is a sad, rainy day and we had just got off a 14 hour flight. Really disappointing welcome to South Kensington.Service: 1

GoogleTried to have lunch here today; finally ordered after asking the waitress if we could twice. 25 minutes later followed up to ask how much longer it would be and she hadn’t even put the order through. GoogleDespite being a cold day we weren’t allowed to sit inside even though all tables inside were empty. The staff couldn’t even provide a decent explanation as to why not and so we stayed wrapped up in our coats shivering for the meal, on a wonky broken table. Our food, when it arrived, was not much to rave about. A lovely looking full sandwich was taken to a nearby table; I ordered the gluten free version and received a very sorry looking thinly-filled sandwich, no garnish. And charged £15 for the privilege. I only had a limited time to catch up with my mum so didn’t want to make a fuss but it was disappointing to say the least. And even more so as when we passed by on our to the station half an hour later that the staff were showing people into the warmth indoors. GoogleThe vegan coconut bacon sandwich was delicious with loads of flavour and a good mix of texture. The matcha rose latte was fine, but it arrived less than lukewarm, and the staff weren't particularly apologetic about it. GoogleI've been to the one in Notting Hill so was happy to see another one had opened as that one can get quite busy. This was busy too, mostly due to them not allowing people to sit outside owing to "staff issues". I managed to get a seat but only because I was by myself. I had their GF pancakes - quite nice but I've had better with more toppings for cheaper elsewhere. Chai latte was good, but I got it after I had my food. I left a bit disappointed in all honesty.

GoogleThe positive: A very cute place with friendly staff and nice decor. However, for the upscale prices you should expect size portions. For a granola yogurt bowl £9.5 and then only a little scoop of yogurt is not justified. Also the Chai Latte looks very sweet but is not huge and if you look at the prices of the area very overpriced. GoogleI came to Farm Girl hoping to work on my laptop while enjoying a cup of coffee and a pastry. Before ordering, I asked if this was allowed, and the staff checked with the manager, confirming it was absolutely fine. However, not long after sitting down, before I had even finished my coffee and pastry, I was abruptly told that I needed to leave. This was frustrating, especially since I had specifically asked about working on my laptop beforehand. If there was a time limit, I should have been informed at the door when I first inquired. To make matters worse, the coffee seemed half-empty right from the start, and I’ve attached a photo to show how it looked before I even took a sip. Additionally, the person tidying up the cutlery was incredibly loud, with constant clattering that made it impossible to focus. The real issue here seemed to lie in the management’s inconsistency, as the staff were simply following instructions. It’s clear the management was more concerned with freeing up my table and seat to gain more money, rather than providing a consistent and customer-friendly experience. Unfortunately, this decision cost them a regular customer, as I won’t be coming back. Disappointing overall.ServiceDine inService: 1Atmosphere: 1
