The agency mistakenly charged an annual management fee one month ago. After multiple attempts of chasing, the branch manager had promised the funds will be transferred back to me by the end of last week, and the week before. However, it is still no where to be seen. I understand big company takes time to process these things, but it was the branch's mistake to let accounting charge me in the first place, so how is it the customers become the victim and loose money here? Furthermore, once I decided to not use their services anymore, the communication and service became so bad, even tho during this time I am still paying for their management fee.

Victoria Abel and Priya Patel went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. They're an excellent team and although they always act pro-actively they are also always reachable and available for questions and updates. I've been making use of the Crouch End branch services for many years and would highly recommend renting out your property via their team. 4 years ago I would like to thank Robert Kraushar and Prya Patel of the Barnard Marcus Muswell Hill branch for the excellent efficient service provided re-letting my property at short notice and this within one week week from the point of instruction, and not to mention finding the ideal professional tenant who passed referencing with no problems! Have had nothing but amazing service and experience with Barnard Marcus. Victoria made finding and moving into our new property really smooth and totally not stressful. She was really natural and honest with us unlike many other letting agents i've dealt with in the past. To actually have a human aspect to their service didn't go unnoticed. We requested to do a second viewing to take measurements to which they were really happy to do for us. Then on move in day we had a bit of a delay with our van which meant we were a little late arriving to the new place but they were very happy to wait for us which we really appreciated. I would have nothing but good things to say and would really recommend their services.

Worse customer service: Barnard Marcus Muswell Hill. Following a bereavement case Barnard Marcus refused to transfer the deposit to me. Didnt want raise a complaint to TDS. The landlord and myself had to raise a complaint with TDS, who transferred the funds straight away. Started a complaint process with Barnard Marcus. Customer Service as poor as the local BM Muswell hill. Agency didn't see any issue with the non acceptance to transfer the deposit, get TDS involve and poor communication. They just dismissed the case. Asked for last resolution email to go to Ombudsman property, no replies after that. Really poor service, not sure that they know what they are doing. Will be scared to put a deposit with them as it is a hassle to get it after.
