I had a great experience with Barnard Marcus when renting my flat. After another estate agency in the area messed me around, I turned to them and I’m glad I did. Sophie was incredibly attentive and responsive throughout the entire process. She handled everything efficiently, making what was a stressful situation with another estate agent much smoother and far less hassle! I would 100% recommend Sophie and the team at Barnard Marcus to anyone looking to rent in the Muswell Hill area, especially if you value an agent who is proactive and just gets things done.

I just want to echo my wife’s recent review of Barnard Marcus Muswell Hill. In particular Cameron who we worked with on our recent move to the area. He couldn’t be more of a pleasure to work with. He was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful in answering our queries and questions (of which we had many). Moving is never easy but Cameron’s friendly professional approach made it as simple as we could have hoped for. My husband and I recently moved to the Muswell Hill area and worked closely with Cameron and the rest of his team to secure a fabulous long-term rental. Cameron was so enjoyable to work with - highly personable and clearly loves the Muswell Hill area. He was also incredibly professional and responsive to our many questions. I cannot sing this companies praises high enough! From start to finish Lucy was a phenomenal help to myself and my partner in our house move. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life, Priva is extremely rude deflective, doesn't let anyone speak! Constantly interrupts doesn't understand context or logic, despite their previous staff member miss repressenting the flat there is noise 24/7 even with the windows closed, sirens people screaming all day all night road works maintainance I was told with the double glazing I will not hear any of it, Priva does not understand nor care that it is Barnard Marcus's fault for telling me the flat won't be noisy after 12 it is 24hrs a day, Priya visited my flat 4 months ago and have done nothing- zero about the rent/re homing me to the back/ nothing! All she does is DEFLECT INTERUPT AND TALK DOWN ZERO EMPATHY ZERO REMOSE ZERO OWNERSHIP PRIYA HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND CANNOT ACCEPT LOGIC NOR CRITICISM.

It turns out there is a dispute between the landlord and Lucy regarding the state of the flat and I am now caught in the middle. Hands down the best experience we have had with an estate agent. We sold and bought through them. We have moved 5 times over the last 10 years so have a lot of experience. These guys really earn their money - they are professional, helpful and effective (in a challenging market). Above all else, once the sale has been agreed, they work with you to move it forward. You get a real sense that they are on your side and not just chasing their commission. Completely outstanding and, if being honest, changed my view of the profession (based on previous experience).
