The sale of my late Aunt's house was not an easy one as we had to get probate granted before we could properly deal with any buyers and the house was not in the best condition, being a Georgian property. However, Andy Loizou was very helpful and supportive right from the beginning of the process and did all he could to assist with any issues that arose. Also, I was very impressed at the calibre of buyers that he introduced and we were very much spoilt for choice. Andy was always very honest and straight forward with me and I never felt pressured or worried about what was happening. He was very easy to contact and, if he wasn't available, would always get back to me the same day.

Andy Loizou was very good at answering our questions either on the spot or finding out the answers for us later, which he did following up. Because we weren't 100% familiar with the exact area, Andy did a great job explaining to us the hierarchy of neighbourhoods. Had a lot of time for us. We recently purchased Georgia Adam's flat (see her review below) through Anthony Pepe with Joshua Deacon-Holmes. Dealing with an estate agent like Josh was a real breath of fresh air - he was super responsive and polite in his communications, very professional and friendly throughout the conveyance process. This took a tad longer than planned, but he didn't lose his cool. He was very good at joining all the dots, making sure solicitors were talking to each other and that the process was moving on smoothly. He contacted me nearly everyday. I would recommend him highly if you were planning to sell your home. Similarly, the rental department run by Yasmin Reid was very efficient. Yasmin started marketing the property for us a few days before completion, and she secured a rental offer a few hours on the day of completion, when she already had several viewings lined up. I was very impressed. We really loved the flat so we were willing to pay the full asking price for it even though we felt it was overpriced. Our two initial offers, the last being just a few thousands under the full asking price, were turned down after many days of consideration and minimal contact from Josh or anyone in his team, we were basically left in the lurch. So much so, that by the time they got back to us (we chased them quite a bit for an answer) we had already placed an offer on another flat. So reading Georgia's comment that says that Josh went the extra mile to ensure that they got the offer they wanted, was hurtful. Having read that, I wish now I had stuck to my revised 2nd offer (which was a fair offer and over £60k what the seller paid for the property a year before) or just walked away. So in summary, I think if you are a seller, Josh is probably the guy you want selling your house, but if you happen to be a buyer like us, be aware of this, stick to your guns and pay what you feel the property is really worth. I understand that this not uncommon and that estate agents will play you over time, knowing how keen you are, until they get what they want. And indeed we were played. This is a 5-star review because Josh was great to deal with once we had our offer accepted and the conveyance process was in motion. And also because at the end of the day, he did exactly what estate agents are supposed to do - to sell your home for as much as they can while maximising their commission. So no hard feelings or sour grapes Josh, we love the flat, we are very happy with it and you have been really delightful to deal with. Sale of Crouch End Flat, Coolhurst Road

Josh, the manager at Crouch End, was always there, responsive, quick to communicate, and willing to listen to any issues that came up around the sale. At no point did he make me feel railroaded into making a decision I was not happy with. He was able to offer empathy when the first buyer withdrew for lack of funds and to get the process going again, with consistent effort throughout the various ups and downs of the process. Finally getting ot the point of completion - at no point did I feel Josh's interest wane even when juggling many other sales as well.
