GoogleJames did an amazing job for us. My mother in law was looking to sell and downsize to a flat. She’s in her 90s and this made communication a little tougher. He dealt with her carefully and clearly and took time to explain to every step in the process clearly. Time was extremely tight as the flat she wanted was already on the market. James managed to find a buyer for her house within a week, which was nothing short of amazing considering the market. I would definitely recommend and use Devenports again. They don’t have a salesy approach, they understand the client needs and then clearly focus on meeting them.

GoogleI sold my property on Percy Road with Aaron and James and chose them because they offered fantastic value for money and I believe in supporting fellow small businesses and disruptors in established markets.
Most importantly they stood by their decisions and communicated openly and honestly which is a rare trait in my experience with estate agents.
My property was not your standard "cookie cutter" flat and I had been severely let down by two established agencies in the area who had valued my property previously but then would not support the valuations in a subsequent mortgage re-evaluation leaving me in a very difficult situation. Despite the uniqueness of my property with challenging lease arrangements they found a fantastic buyer and I achieved exactly what they promised I would achieve from it despite a declining sellers market.
Aaron and James were great throughout the sales process and kept me up to date daily on interest and viewings. When they were not available, one of their other staff harry took over seamlessly. It was very apparent that they took time to weed out tyre kickers and non serious buyers and as a seller I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
It's not an easy market out there for sellers at the moment but you're in good hands with Devenports and the guys will support you through it.

GoogleWe are so pleased we chose Devenports to act for us in the sale of our rental flat.
From the outset Devenports were different from "traditional" estate agents, they were modern and dynamic using a different and seemingly extremely effective methodology to price the the property. Once they started marketing the property we were at sealed bids in no time and achieved our asking price.
When we went into their office we became the centre of attention and all the staff knew all about our sale. They were always helpful and with their clear knowledge and experience, gave excellent advice when needed furthering our confidence in them.
Once the sale was agreed in principle they were constantly involved in chasing the sale through to completion. They communicated extremely well using modern methods and actively coordinated the parties to speed things along.

After a bad experience last year with another agent, my experience with Devenports couldn't have been more different. Communication, marketing (they use a company specifically for taking the photos and they looked amazing) and local knowledge were excellent, and despite this their commission rates are the most competitive I've come across. Harry was constantly keeping me informed and arranging viewings to fit around my schedule, and after two weeks on the market we had received two offers at the asking price from first time buyers. Unfortunately for external reasons I had to withdraw from the sale, but I will not hesitate to use Devenports again in hopefully the near future.
