Choosing an estate agent is not as simple as you might think. We made a bad choice initially and were seduced by a high, and unrealistic, valuation of our house. So more cautiously we chose Henshaw Fox. Tom Henshaw came to value the house and was extremely professional, polite and clear about what we could expect when using his company. He charges fixed fees which are very competitive, Tom took the photos of our house himself and they were really impressive, giving a very good idea of the house and gardens. He also recommended getting a 3D tour of the property to assist with viewings during lockdown (this is amazing and I would really recommend having one done lockdown or not). Viewings came thick and fast, so the Henshaw Fox marketing strategy clearly works and we had offers on the first day on the market. So far so good, but then there’s the hard part, all the back and forth with surveys and searches and paperwork, solicitors etc. It’s so complicated and this is where Henshaw Fox and their After Sales Manager, Nicci Crocker take a star turn. Weekly contact to confer on progress and advise how to ease the sale forward to exchange and completion were an absolute god send ensuring things didn’t languish. We had a problem at the lower end of our sale chain and Nicci came into her own, chasing down the problem and keeping us informed of resolutions. I can wholeheartedly recommend Tom, Nicci and their colleagues, theirs is a slick, well managed organisation that really takes as much stress out of the house selling process as possible.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

We considered three different Romsey estate agents before choosing Henshaw Fox. We were immediately impressed with their personal touch and non-pushy approach. They have been honest and open throughout and always had the best for us at heart of the advice they have given. Communication has been excellent at every stage and time was always made to listen to your concerns or queries in a patient manner. The company has a family feel to it and we were treated with courtesy and respect throughout, Tom and the team are not there just to make money but to journey alongside you to ensure that the outcome is the best one for all concerned.

Probably like many of you reading this I have a low opinion of estate/letting agents in general informed by numerous bad experiences in the past. With this in mind I can’t overstate just what a breath of fresh air Henshaw Fox are. We dealt with Tom during the process of marketing our house and Nicci during the exchange and completion period and both of them consistently exceeded our expectations with their hard work and dedication both in moving our sale through from start to finish but also keeping us in the loop at all times with no need to chase.
