Aaron is totally different from other letting agents. He goes above and beyond to be helpful and works incredibly hard at building relationships with landlord and tenant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his team. It is very rare to find someone who goes above and beyond but Aaron does. I'd also like to praise Stanislava for her excellent administration of the process. As a landlord I will definitely be using them again. It is also rare for me to give this much praise but they definitely deserve it. Thank you Winkworth lettings team!

We have just moved into our flat in Shepherd’s Bush. Right from the start from when we first viewed the flat and all the paperwork that followed and needed completing and then getting the keys, Winkworth guided us through it all step by step. They answered any queries we had promptly and efficiently and just as important to us with patience and a genuine warmth and kindness and nothing was too much trouble. We dealt with Sibel, Ledian and Miranda and each one of them could not have been more helpful. They were wonderful. We would highly recommend them.

Small gestures go a long way and today I was lucky enough to speak with Bianca from the Winkworth Shepherds Bush office as I needed a couple documents printed off and scanned back to me. Nothing to do with lettings or sales for the company but just an opportunity to help a tenant of Winkworth with a simple task that needed completing by the end of the day. Thanks to Bianca I was able to have everything printed off and scanned back to me within 15 minutes. Very friendly office in general and had a great experiencing moving in back in December with help from a senior team member Miranda!

I’ve used Winkworths for many years…

I’ve used Winkworths for many years with no complaints. They found nearly 30 people to go and view my rental property which had been recently renovated and found new tenants very quickly. All along the way, they sorted out the paperwork, inventory inspection, references etc. Aaron, my contact at Winkworths, did his best to make sure not only I was happy but also the tenants. We rented a property via Winkworth…

We rented a property via Winkworth (Kensal Rise) for a period of almost three years. Fraser and Aaron assisted us with the search for the flat and Michael was our point of contact for all things maintenance and beyond. The process of finding the property at the outset was seamless - Winkworth were excellent. Throughout the three year period, the flat was not without its usual issues (boiler etc). Michael was a dependable contact and took responsibility for gaining the relevant consents/approvals from the landlord/lady and subsequently ensured service providers completed the work to schedule and with minimal disturbance. He really did make the renting process so much easier.Finally, when we wanted to depart from the flat, Aaron ensured that our interests were considered and was the point of contact between us and the landlord/lady. Through great management, we were able to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. Again, Michael also kept us well informed of and was transparent about the departure process. If you are looking for a professional, personable and reliable agent, choose Winkworth (Kensal Rise).

Amazing estate agents

Our home purchase had quite a few blips along the way and both Nicola and Alex were so patient and reassuring throughout. Nicola never stopped pushing the lawyers on our behalf and I honestly don’t think it would have happened without them. I’m not usually the best fan of estate agents but Winkworth seem to be an honest and genuine firm. Nicola and Alex are just simply fantastic. I don’t plan on moving again for quite some time I but if I do I will definitely use them again. Highly highly recommend.

The worst estate agents I've ever rented from

EDIT: Winkworth have asked me to say the branch this took place at, but at one point the managing director used some aggressive tactics to shut us up, and to be honest I want to remain anonymous to Winkworth as they still have my contact details.--I had a terrible experience with Winkworth when I was renting with them. No matter who it was you were speaking to, you were treated like dirt and felt like the lowest priority. Here are some of the things that happened...I moved in whilst the flat was on a rolling tenancy, so when a new flatmate moved in, the inventory wasn't updated and the flat was never checked for cleanliness when a tenant left. I don't know how standard practice this was, but when we all decided to terminate the tenancy, whoever was carrying out the checkout inspection was looking at photos of a completely different flat - different furniture, different carpets. We successfully appealed when they tried to take some of our deposit.One day, I had a knock on the door and it was some painter decorators who had been booked to decorate all our bedrooms. We didn't receive any notice of this, and had to live in our flat with the paint fumes for the next two days.I lived with two other flatmates, and one of them became very violent and aggressive to us. We suddenly felt very unsafe. The police weren't able to do anything, so we went to Winkworth asking for help, and they just said we'd have to sort it out between the three of us. I'm not sure what the practice is around this, but to just brush us off without even being empathetic to our situation was very upsetting. I asked them if they would only step in once we were in bodybags...!There were many other things that happened during my time with them. I wanted to write about some of my experiences over the years I rented with them to make people aware that they really live up to the typical estate agent stereotypes.

From start to end of tenancy Winkworth's in Kensal Rise were a pleasure to deal with. Tenants were found quickly and easily, any issues during the rental period were dealt with immediately by the Michael who manages the properties and communication between all parties was great. I rented through Winkworth this past year and overall it was a positive experience. There were a couple of hiccups throughout the course of our tenancy and some difficulty at the start of our contract, but any larger issues for the remainder of the year were more to do with our particular landlord and less to do with the agency itself. That said, our property manager Katrina was fantastic! She was incredibly responsive to any and all queries regarding our flat, and was lovely and personable in our communications with her. Katrina is an asset to Winkworth SB.
