From start to end of tenancy Winkworth's in Kensal Rise were a pleasure to deal with. Tenants were found quickly and easily, any issues during the rental period were dealt with immediately by the Michael who manages the properties and communication between all parties was great. Absolutely no complaints with their service at all. Having had a bad experience when working with another local estate it was great to move to this team who were very responsive, dealt with issues straight away and made sure tenant and landlord were all kept happy! thank you

Highly recommend

Most of the time renting can be a nightmare. I was not looking forward to it at all, especially with how the market is but we lucked out with Fabian big time and from our first call he listened to us and found us a great flat. I rented through Winkworth this past year and overall it was a positive experience. There were a couple of hiccups throughout the course of our tenancy and some difficulty at the start of our contract, but any larger issues for the remainder of the year were more to do with our particular landlord and less to do with the agency itself. That said, our property manager Katrina was fantastic! She was incredibly responsive to any and all queries regarding our flat, and was lovely and personable in our communications with her. Katrina is an asset to Winkworth SB.

Regarding Michael Anthony, there are very few individuals that you meet who are truly exceptional by way of motivation, experience, and knowledge of the right amount of ‘push and pull’ to ensure a complex task reaches full completion. Our move would most likely not have happened had it not been for Michael’s highly adept coordination of two other sets of estate agents, and three other sets of lawyers. There was a striking absence of communication throughout much of the chain, with the exception of Michael, who kept us informed on a frequent basis. I would add that these updates were not only once a significant milestone in the process had occurred, but he also checked in frequently, to ensure that no momentum was lost even when things were stalling. I will be going out of my way to recommend him to all my friends in the area under Winkworth (for instance, all parent chat groups), and will do so again next spring, where a substantial amount of houses come onto the market), and whilst we anticipate this recent purchase to be a house for life, should we need to sell any of our other properties in the area, we will seek him out without a second thought. They never solving problems.... 0 respect to tenats they are just nice liars it's 7mothns raining into the room, they check it and said it's only raining inside when the rain is stronger, so I'm still using bowls for water for 7 months. Boiler is broken now they made a appointment and didn't come over. When My girlfriend called them they said you have been contacted and informed that we come on evening... Nobody called us. Now they made appointment after week, so you can live without heating.. olso they just coming to check not to fix it....

The worst ever experience I ever had…

The worst ever experience I ever had with letting agency. Absolutely unprofessional and arogant. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED.I had meeting with an agent from Winkworth agency for a property on Uxbridge road, Shepherd's bush. The meeting was for 3 pm and I was exactly on time on the place. I received the adress with a txt message, so after few min waiting and not see anyone around that is waiting for me I decided to call that number. The number didn't work. The sound was like non existing number. I tryed again- same story. Then I rang on the agency number to ask if someone is going to meet me or not and the lady on the phone said the agent is already there. I told her that I am on the adress, but I don't see anyone around that could be the one is waiting for me and I ask if the adress is correct, because its on the main road, but non of the doors looks like living building door / shops and restaurants around/.. So she said she is going to call the agent to call me back. The time is already 3.06 pm. After 2 min I got a call from the agent that she is waiting for me INSIDE the flat and I am alraedy late and if I am not there in the next 5 min she is not going to wait for me, because she has another appointment and she is giving 15 min slot between appointments. SERIOUSLY ????????????? In fact I am trying to contact with her all that time. I asked her where exactly is the adress, because its not on the main road how I receive it and I am outside. She said its actualy in a small side street and I have to put the adress on the gps to find it. I told her, that I did, but I will refresh and do again and will give her call back. Then she said she has 1% on her phone battery and her phone might die any minute. I asked her- In that case isn't it better and quicker if she come out on the street and meet me when its metter of some doors I guess. She even didn't answer on that, but hang up the phone. I put the adress again in the gps and while its on the map I called her again just to watch the map and eventualy get some navigation from her aswell. I called 4 times , she even didnt pick up the phone. I called back the agency to tell them that she is absolutley arogant, not waiting for me outside, but inside the flat, not picking up the phone, accusing me I am late , in fackt I am not and on the top of that she is not willing to come out and meet me and even not going to wait. The moment I was on the phone with the agency I saw a woman with green coat coming out of the side street building and checking if the door is locked. I wasn't sure if that is the agent, but because she already told me that the adress is on a side street I asked the lady on the phone how her colleague looks like and if she is with a green coat. She said yes, and I told her I see the agent. Obviously she decided to come out when she was ready to go, but not to meet me, because she just looked left and right, obviously she don't know who she is waiting for, but not even try to call. Even with 1 % battery she could make a phone call. I told the lady on the phone I am going to speak with her and by the time I reach her she was already in her car ready to go. I knock on the window, she didnt even came out of the car, but talking to me trough the open window / how respectful- well done / telling me I am late and she was waiting for me outside, when I wasn't late and she didn't wait for me outside. She just came out when she was ready to go. All that time she was inside the flat. With all her impudence she said she was waiting for me, I wasn't there, that is why she is going, can't show me the flat now, because she is in a rush for another meeting / the time is 3.17 pm/ her phone is on 1 % / like this is my fault/, that is why she didn't call and I have to rebook. I just told her to not bother to rebook anymore, I am not going to go at all. Then she said she will unregister me from their data base / how professional and brave- well done and Thank you - I realy admire you / I call back the agency and I told them what happaned and that I am extremely upset and disappointed and I want my name and my email to be deleted from their register and I don't want to hear anymore from them. I am just asking: -Which agent ever waiting for a customer inside the property??????? That is not my first time I am looking for a property and all the agents, every time are waiting outside, calling back and telling you how they are dressed to recognise them and where exactly they are. - Which self respected agent is going on a meeting with 1 % battery on the phone - either charge your phone in your office or buy external battery. - Which agent is so arogant to put off customer from her and the agency she represent.She is actualy a shame for the Winkworth agency, working against their name and loosing customers, instead of attracting them. For me this woman don't deserve to be called agent and she don't deserve even this one star I gave, but unfortunately its not allowed to write without giving a star.

Complete waste of time. Was trying to rent a flat through Winkworth and was hounded by the agent for an offer. Put the offer in and turned down other flats. Over a week later was told to go look elsewhere. Highly unprofessional and wouldn't use it recommend them for renters.

Best estate agent rental experience ever!

After speaking to multiple different Estate agents it's much of the same from everyone but Winkworth were different. Immediately I was listened to and my requirements taken into consideration. I worked with Fabian to find the home I recently moved into. He excelled. I didn't have to drag myself around unsuitable properties and he was the right balance of informative and patient. I didn't feel like I was being pushed into anything nor was I bombarded with endless emails of properties that didn't suit my requirments. It was actually a pleasant experience!

Worst service by a mile

Oh dear, I dont even know where to start. We signed the agreement end of June to move in one month later. We stipulated several times in the email correspondences that we wanted to come in to see which furniture and items we wanted to keep and which to toss. The day of the move in happened, and we never received a response to our queries. When we moved in, we were then told that we had not specified in the contract, which items to get rid of (we specifically wrote in the contract: to be specified later, hence why we needed access to the flat prior to moving in). It was a hassle to get the woman to cooperate and she kept saying we hadn’t agreed on this (numerous emails/contract was not enough proof, but I doubt the lady had a law degree specialising in contract law or even just a functioning brain). Ah well!!! After several unpleasant calls, we finally managed to get approval of moving the items and have the larger items removed by a company. But boy oh boy that was a struggle. After having moved in properly a vast majority of the things listed in the contract hadn’t been fixed ie. Heating was broke, cabinets broken, extractor fan broken, windows dirty etc etc. And we even had to throw out 6 large boxes of CRAP, which the agency said was at our expense. Items included: old shoes, belts, broken kitchen units, bondage kit (WOOOOH.. What a surprise), filthy storage room with empty shoe boxes, broken fans, blood stained linen, dirty old pillows and blankets and numerous other fairly disgusting items. We have now asked quite a few times, when we can expect to have fans, toilet flush, extractor fan, broken cabinets, heating etc fixed and we are still awaiting a reply to this. It has been 7 business days since we moved in, so I do hope it gets sorted soon. All in all, TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I wouldn’t recommend.
