We went with KFH as we had purchased our property from them and they seemed honest and competent. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, a new agent was assigned to us (the original lady dealing with us had left the company), and he was everything you don't want in an estate agent. He was pushy, told half-truths, tried to push his panel of solicitors etc... We did eventually sell the property but it would be difficult to recommend them given this experience.

I have used KFH for letting/managing my properties for in excess of 7 yrs and as a landlord quick responses and a personal service is essential. Kelly Mahon the Senior Property Manager @ KFH has looked after my properties pretty much from the outset. She is great! She takes on all the usual hassles that occur during any new or ongoing letting creating an excellent link and sensible communication between landlord and tenant. More importantly she is quick with her responses and get things sorted! Highly recommend her and her strong work ethic.

Persistently poor management and maintainence of the heating and hot water system in our estate has meant that over 100 residents have been left with no heating or hot water for over 2 weeks, in December/ January. Residents have been treated extremely callously by KFH, poor communication, lack of support for vulnerable residents, no urgency or attempt to rectify the mater in a timely fashion. Residents have been persistently lied to about the issues, the progress of the works and the timeline which these are to be completed by.

This rating applies to the management team (not Letting). They don’t seem to act in the best interest of the client when it comes to costs and timing. It took them 3 months and several follow-up email to complete a job on an entrance door. Even though I have requested more than one quotation for comparison, only one quote was presented to me in the beginning. Only after chasing did I receive a second quotation. Also, the response time is very slow in replying to email.

GoogleI worked with KFH for a year to sell my home. After multiple offers falling through, Naz Rostaie got us through to completion. She was patient, kind and professional. Given the amount of stress we were all under, I found that quite impressive. I appreciated her calm demeanour throughout the sale. It truly helped. I honestly can recommend her and the Brook Green office.

Everything for them is about the buyer not the seller. Your needs as a seller will not be heard and the pressure is on you to sell at the lowest price so the agent gets their fees commission regardless of whether it is in your interess or not. Constant calling when you're working, and not at the times you have communicated work for you, then pressure to go along with what they want, which is the easiest option for them to get their fee. They do not stand up for you and the only "good seller" in their view is a quick one who does what they say when they say even if it is problematic for you, at a bad time or a low price. Not pleasant, not good for the seller. So much pressure to sell at whatever price just to sell even if it leaves you at a loss and is massively stressful and disruptive for your family.

TrustpilotStrong start…downhill from there
We recently sold our flat through a combination of KFH’s Sydenham and Crystal Palace branches. Whilst they did sell our flat quickly, which is of course a positive outcome, the experience we had was far from ideal. The initial listing process and the arrangement of viewings was very smooth and faultless, but the journey from accepting an offer to completion saw a marked drop in communication, culminating in us being told we had 10 days (including two weekends) to complete, or our buyer would withdraw, as they had a firm deadline due to their tenancy ending. Whilst we fully accept this scenario can happen, it appears that our agent at KFH was aware of this potential requirement in the timeline, and either failed to follow up and confirm this, or did so and failed to relay this to us - and this despite our asking for confirmation before the demand came. All this culminated in us having to place all our possessions in storage for three weeks, and having to arrange to stay in a combination of family hospitality, and a costly short term rental, until our final property was ready for completion. Overall, KFH got the job done of selling our property, but the poor communication and organisation has left a very bad feeling, and we would not consider using them again or recommending them to others.

Complete let down throughout the whole sale process. Now the market is down and it’s a buyers market they take the buyer’s side and try to convince the seller to decrease asking price further and further just to get their listings sold quickly, but not to achieve the best price by actually selling it for you. All they do is open the front door, no active selling happening. I regret not going with jdm as they sold our neighbour’s house for £25k more, at the same time. Also, their assistant manager got very rude in the end and was completely unwilling to work with us to achieve the least financial loss we suffered due to an unreliable buyer who wasn’t vetted properly by KFH before we accepted the offer.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
