Great service from property managers

Dexters manages the apartment I rent in Lower Holloway, they are very supportive and quick whenever we signal an issue in the property. During the last visit, their Senior Property Manager Petros Giorganios went above and beyond in showing us how to better use and maintain the heating system, on top of being very kind and courteous.

Worst estate agency

Worst estate agency, was a nightmare living in 121A Darwin Road. No sound proof, creaky floors, history of neighbours fighting bcoz of it. Being let out inspite of all this. Property Manager never replies back to emails. No action taken even after 9 months. Boiler was broken from almost a month and lived without heating or hot water. Finally gave up and moved out. Not a word of apology from them, they are chasing now regarding contract.

Appalling service from Dexters Hammersmith, strongly recommend to avoid. Shortcomings include 1) quality of marketing materials with almost all viewings commenting their surprise at the flat vs pictures and Dexters admitting there was a low conversion rate from views on Rightmove without adequate suggestion to improve 2) lack of experienced sales persons with Dexters team not knowledgeable on the flat’s selling points or local market (we had to tell the team about a block of new builds that came onto the market in our development via a competitor). Many viewings were awkward with no rapport or proactive sales pitch. We had to insist one senior rep take accountability of the sale as no adequate solution offered by team 3) Most importantly, poor communication from the team meant trust was lost early on. Dexters refused to make a modest counter on a low ball offer on our behalf, having strongly consulted the week before they felt confident they could sell the flat for 50k more. Dexters then communicated that the buyers had pulled out to our onward chain before telling us, which left us in a very awkward and stressful position. We considered this a serious breach of contract and, despite having already communicated our serious doubts about the service received and served notice, Dexters refused to release us from our contract early insisting they could achieve a sale for the already reduced price agreed. They achieved one offer another 50k lower than this, 150k under what Dexters initially agreed to soft launch flat at. Complete waste of time with a team that at no point felt competent.
