I stayed in a short let property for 4 months. I am an older person who did not have guests for dinner or drinks, worked from home and mainly ate out. I paid £360 for the professional cleaner when I left. Chestertons paid a 3rd party to do a post tenancy inspection who CHARGED me for repainting the property, accused me of painting over defects and a bunch of other things including "slight shading around light switches". I was disputed it and was beyond furious. The response from Chestertons was "the landlord has a right to do this". The process was beyond disgusting and I recommend anyone who is remotely considering letting through Chestertons to meticulously document everything before moving in.

Gary Noone, Jack Burnett and the team at Chestertons were proactive, communicative and ambitious with how they marketed my rental flat. They listed it for more than other agents had suggested and still got over-asking from all the offers. From listing day to a signed tenant took just a few days!The admin process after that was smooth and simple via an online portal.

Toby was terrific to deal with. As a tenant, he was so prompt with his responses and dealt with any concerns or complications with such efficiency. I felt that he was very trustworthy and reliable and therefore could not rate him any higher. Suzan was also helpful with her involvement. Overall, we had a great experience with JP.

GoogleMy girlfriend and I were first-time buyers for a property in the Hammersmith/Fulham area. Throughout the transaction, we dealt with Conor from Chestertons estate agency. He was always upbeat, friendly and professional, communicated well (under-acknowledged in work environments) and was very accommodating for viewings (especially appreciated around Christmas). He looked to relay the seller's thoughts in a quick and honest manner, which on a couple instances we admit did panic us, however overall we were very thankful for his support.

I had a visit that was late by an hour. I didn’t mind too much at the time. But the fact that it’s been a week I’ve been told I’ll get an email of the valuation. Called and spoken to people online and over the phone and I’ve still not heard anything other than we’ll get back to you. Or you’ll receive it tonight.

I was able to find and move into my new flat easily thanks to Louis Vasili and doing the process from a different city. He was able to show me a flat just as it was coming to market and provide videos/visit the property at short notice to make the whole process easy - to benefit of both myself and the landlord.
