GoogleDespite having an absolutely fantastic landlady, living with Amber & Co as our estate agent was a painful and exhausting 2 years. The team here are lazy and will simply ignore all attempts to contact them via email. When contacting them by phone they'll tell you what you want to hear, but then never follow through with the promised actions. They tried to force us to pay for repairs that were not our responsibility, and only agreed to pay for it after we sought legal advice and filed a formal complaint (although they gave no apology for being wrong about their decision, nor for the disrespectful allegations made by members of their team). They also failed to provide copies of gas safety certificates, sent contractors to our property without written consent as required by the contract and never accepted responsibility for their mistakes. Once we obtained the contact details of our landlady directly, life became so much easier; issues were resolved quickly, efficiently and amicably when Amber & Co were not involved, and we were very sad to have to say goodbye to her. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid renting through Amber & Co, or at the very least ensure that you have sufficient funds or insurance for the professional legal advice that you will inevitably need to obtain in order to hold them accountable.

GoogleI have had an extremely long and amazing relationship with Amber & Co. Whether you are buying, selling, a landlord or renting they are the only estate agent to deal with here. They show much more attention to detail and care than larger estate agents and they actually value your time.

GoogleIn simple words: stay away from them!! They emailed me as they saw my ad on spareroom looking for temporary studio. Then called me with a list of properties which I agreed to see few today. They made viewing appointment and I headed to location waiting for them The guy called 10 minutes before the appointment saying that he had breakdown and cannot attend on time. I said ok and left but then he called again saying he will make it in half an hour. I headed back to property and waited for more than an hour the guy didnt show up nor called I called him and he responded that he tried calling me and came to property but couldnt find me!! He actually didnt call but made up the story. Then his manager called and instead of apologizing he blamed me and hang the phone on me!! Imagine this is during viewing only, what could happen if I took the property!!!
