Very bad experience from a buyer, they put on sale a house which was not ready for sale because of a unsettled situation between the sellers husband and wife. They was accepted my offer and I was waiting for from October until February to have transfer of property, but nothing! After I pull out my self from this acquisition, they put it back on sale after a week, and I was informed they all ready find another buyer, another offer ( another sucker to wait for this house for months), so personally I do think is a serious business! In the beginning I was give them the reduction of not having the knowledge of situation and the seller keeping information from them, but now they do know that and stil put it for sale. Is not possible to have a property for sale and to aspect your buyer to wait until this kind of situation they are going to be settled and which can take months if the parts do not agree! I have more details but I do not want to get over there, basically do not give to much trust in this Estate Agents at least this branch, I hope is not all Igloo in this way! For the response, This comment it was from October 2022 for a house from Broomlands Road, Cumbernauld!! I do not know why is saing 4 days ago, how ever I am not going to take it down because is true !! 13 Wednesday 2025 You are cumming after 3 years to fix this and say "I do not have a record" and you think you are not responsible any more saying this! Well you are, I do not care if you have or do not have or delete records, still was happen!! Broomlands, see when you sell places over there, close deal seller agreed with the price offered ! Also if you think I will get in trouble to just get you a ring phone, you are living in a wander world!

Fantastic estate agents - from the very first interaction to the final agreement on sale, I've been very impressed. Cannot recommend Alan McIlroy highly enough, plus his colleague Alan Barbour whom we also worked with, they take great pride in their profession, provide genuine guidance, and continually keep you informed. Both Alan's took the stress out of selling and buying, while offering a personal touch that is unique in estate agency world. I would highly recommend Igloo and especially Alan Mcllory as your choice of estate agents if thinking about selling or buying your home. From the start through to accepting an offer on our house Alan and his colleagues were extremely professional, friendly and reliable and kept us informed of everything that was going on, nothing from them seemed to be of any trouble and were always at hand to answer any questions. We also purchased a new property through Igloo and Abby and colleagues were also fantastic at guiding us through the process.

Really pleased with the team at IGLOO, Hamilton. Having a set fee, instead of a percentage of final sale price, was a big plus for us. I had the "pleasure" to interact with two of their agents. David was the first one. We had this viewing booked for 12pm on Saturday and he texts me at 9am to ask me if I'm still okay with our meeting at 10am?! I explained that I'm not booked for 10am and that we can meet up later on. At around 2pm he decides to text me saying he could do it. He was late for that one as well, but let's just ignore that. He saw that I don't have a Scottish accent and he asked me where I'm from. When we got into the flat, he mentioned it's not furnished. I only searched for furnished flats and so, I've advised him that it should be furnished. He insisted it's not furnished and then PROCEEDED TO ASK ME IF I KNOW WHAT FURNISHED MEANS and to explain what the difference between furnished and unfurnished is. After a wee chat, we concluded that he took me to the wrong flat. Not only that he messed up his appointments and he thought I was scheduled in for another time, but he took me to the completely wrong flat. I've rarely seen such incompetence somewhere. Second one was Ian. He promised he would talk to the landlord of a different flat and that we would email me. I had to chase this up twice and Linda (I'm assuming that's the receptionist/secretary) told me that he would contact me back, but never did. Later on, I've seen the advert removed from the website. EDIT AND UPDATE (as I cannot reply to their response): Stop lying and embarrassing yourself. You should apologise, but I don’t care. I don’t want your apologies, I want other people to know what will they deal with. And to respond properly... I did have a meeting with Gail and when I asked her what to do if I want the flat she said to call into the office first thing the next morning, and so I did. I called in, Linda answered and she transferred me to Ian. I did discuss a couple of details with Ian and he promised he will keep me updated. He never did, which is why you never have any kind of record of our interactions except the ones that you mentioned. And as of David, I can definitely screenshot our entire conversation in text messages and post it here (including his phone number).
