The delay was extremely frustrating but your staff are not proactive and did not on many occasions call us back. We only got to know by accident that they’d lost their buyer. James did say they only needed a small mortgage. We weren’t given a brochure of our property and when asked I got a few pages not even paper clipped together. The word on the street whenever it’s been mentioned is that your customers are a hindrance and your staff are not very goodThere were many other things that occurred and the solicitors you recommended for our buyers are inefficient and lazy. If I could do anything about the house buying process I would ensure that the fees charged for your service are substantially reduced as you don’t provide value for money. I’ve worked with excellent negotiators over the years so I know what I expected and didn’t receive. You Leanne are very good at your job but let down by your office.

R&D provided a professional, friendly, comprehensive service under pretty difficult circumstances!!!Every member of staff was pleasant and always called back when they said they would during the process.In final completion phase Jenny Boyle, the Move Manager, provided great support for which we are very grateful. Her regular updates and discussions with the solicitors definitely kept this difficult process on track. We wouldn’t hesitate to use R&D again - hopefully under easier circumstances!

Very helpful, at the beginning and end of sale. My boiler broke down prior to moving in on removal day in my new home. Emmy went above and beyond to support. A little quiet mid sale and didn’t always return calls at this point. But the support at the end was amazing.

Dreadful. Advertised a property in December and the sellers didn’t find their onward purchase until September. This has dragged on for far too long. And on the day of completion DIDNT communicate with the sellers to ensure they were out of the property by the time of completion. This meant we could not move into our property until almost 4 hours after completion due to the sellers still moving out. The people in the office seemed to think it was amusing when I continued to call them to find out when we could come and collect the keys to OUR house. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS AGENCY. AWFUL SERVICE TO BUYERS.

We have recently sold our property using the Halifax branch of Ryder & Dutton and the service and support we had from Victoria Bell, Stephanie Hill and Matt Corfield has been fantastic!We had a few bumps along the way (with potential buyers) that caused frustration but the Halifax team kept us positive and motivated throughout with their support and professionalism.Communication was also ‘First Class’ from start to finish via phone, email and there was always assistance in branch if needed. We had regular contact with updates throughout the process which was much appreciated.We would not hesitate in using Ryder & Dutton Halifax branch again for any future sales and highly recommend them to anyone in the process of looking for an Estate Agent.
