Throughout the whole process of moving our elderly parents, Ryder and Dutton in Rawtenstall were fantastic to deal with. I would like to recognise Alex McMahon and Graham, in dealing so sensitively with their situation, they were very generous with their time in making everything run as smoothly as possible. Alex took on the communications. She was extremely efficient, she updated us regularly and our calls were dealt with promptly and intelligently. And with a kindness which we really appreciated . We feel we absolutely chose the best agents and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Once our offer was accepted, Geraldine looked after our purchase. She was fabulous and looked after us every step of the way. She gave us advice and took the lead in chasing and pushing deadlines when she needed to.Can't thank you enough Geraldine for making our house purchase so stress free and smooth.Also a thank you to Zoe (at the Ashton branch) who looked after us initially, dealin with our offer negotiations and gave us our keys on our moving in day.Great service all round.

I would like to thank Branch Coordinator Laura Chadderton at Ryder And Dutton Oldham for making our experience great.We moved to Ryder And Dutton after marketing our property for over a year with another agency and were placed with Laura and immediately we knew we were in safe hands. Laura committed to selling our property and her professionalism and expertise was immediately apparent. She organised a the diary for viewings and kept all parties informed at all times. Laura maintained a dedication to selling the house even when we lost thr first buyer which was very reassuring and we completed with the second buyer today. She has gone above and beyond to make the sale as seamless as possible and has kept us updated on the progress of the sale even if she was on leave . She has been in constant contact with all parties throughout with emails or phone calls always with a friendly and helpful attitude.I would absoloutely recommend Ryder And Dutton because of the exceptional staff they employ.

I recently sold my property with Ryder & Dutton, Heywood branch. It was a very positive experience from start to finish. Starting with Fran Whittle who came out to do do the initial valuation with her obvious experience and knowledge of the local market, which is the most important aspect of selling. She also did the photographs and write up and it was listed online within just a few days. From that point on I dealt with Megan D’Angelillo at the local branch who was just excellent in every aspect of her position. She moved to another branch shortly after and Jenna Henley took over, who was also excellent, extremely efficient, professional and with great communication. They have perfected their process and they execute so well, both individually and as a Team. I received multiple, daily emails about viewings which happened immediately the house was listed, which they also handled for me. I had multiple offers within the first week and Jenna was on the ball at all times until we accepted an offer that we were very happy with. Once we agreed with the buyer, the transaction went as quickly as their bank would allow. Jenna kept me informed every step of the way, I never had to call once to ask for updates, she preempted any question before I even asked. It’s rare to get such service, I cannot recommend them highly enough. It becomes very apparent that using your local estate agent who has known the local area for so many years is a must for viewings and communication. I also used a solicitor they are not connected to but are familiar with due to their long, established network of local vendors, which made communication flow much better than if I’d introduced a random, unknown solicitor. This just added to the efficiency of their process to completion. I had no issues at all. Had there been any I would rather have a highly experienced local company on my side than a random online company who have no connection or attachment to the area. I can recommend Ryder & Dutton without hesitation, it was a pleasure to deal with them. Big thanks to Fran, Megan and Jenna, and Catherine who communicated with me also, you were all totally awesome!

Don’t make me laugh however they not kept all their part of the bargain all the time at 1st it was ok to talk on the phone when I could get through then later I asked to be contacted by email later in the conversation and that included the buyer.

Throughout our instruction, we arranged numerous viewings and worked hard to generate interest in your property, which resulted in several offers being received. Most recently, an offer was received which, as we understand it, you did not subsequently respond to. As explained at the time, before a sale can be formally agreed, we are required to complete the appropriate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and due diligence checks on prospective purchasers. In this particular instance, the necessary documentation had not been provided, meaning that we were unable to progress the offer to a formal sale at that stage. We appreciate that this can be frustrating, but these are requirements that we must adhere to. We also note your comments regarding communication. We followed up discussions and key updates by email to ensure there was a clear written record and that all parties remained informed. We also made a number of attempts to contact you by telephone and remained in regular email correspondence throughout the instruction. We are disappointed by your comments regarding our manager, as we believe that all communications were handled courteously and professionally. We always take feedback regarding the service provided by our team seriously and will reflect on the points you have raised. The sale of a property can understandably be a frustrating process, particularly when prospective purchasers change their position or are unable to proceed. Unfortunately, these circumstances can sometimes arise despite the efforts of the agent and are not always within our control. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we thank you for your feedback and wish you and your husband all the very best for the future Kind regards

We had a number of challenges in selling my late parents house, not least that we all live in Australia. However initially Tony in getting the property on the market and then Amy as our negotiator were both extremely helpful and Amy was excellent at following up with all parties and communicating updates. Having used Ryder and Dutton numerous times when we lived in the UK it is good to see they are still in my opinion the best agents in the region

I sold my house recently through Ryder Dutton after the excellent service I'd previously had from them as a purchaser, I was not disappointed. From the first approach until the day of completion they were great, friendly, efficient & knowledgable. Fiona amd Freya were brilliant at helping me consider offers & in negotiating and I sold at a price I was happy with.The chain to complete was long and therefore complicated, Fiona went above and beyond to keep things moving and to ensure the completion date happened (despite some lack lustre solicitors for various parties). Highly recommend!

Wonderful team to work with. 16 viewings booked in a day and the house sold within a week at the asking price. We did the viewings ourselves over the weekend.Leanne came out initially and got the spec for the particulars and price right, the photos they took were really good and Martha was so efficient in taking the bookings, supported by the team calling me every 30 minutes. What's more, R&D were also acting for all those making an offer on our house so knew where they were in the process of selling their house.

Carmel was totally amazing. At the end of the sale we had many problems and she stood firm and made things happen. Never phased in spite of numerous setbacks mainly caused by our buyers and their solicitors. We, our solicitor, Carmel and the man who we were buying off worked tirelessly to make the exchange of contracts and then completion happen in spite of the problems we faced.Ove the years Ryder and Dutton have been my go to estate agents. Hopefully this will be our last ever move but if there was to be another ther would only be one agent we would go for!

Sold and bought a house through Ryder & Dutton. The process was simple, smooth and easy. Michael the manager from the Middleton branch along with the selling agent Bryony were great. Carmel our move manager was fantastic, she kept us informed throughout and helped chase the sellers and their solicitor to help with completion. Worth paying the extra over an online estate agent who we tried and were useless. We would definitely use them again! Great team work! Well done Ryder & Dutton.

We advised in our specific needs and why we needed to sell and both Leon and the team have provided ongoing support throughout our time with them. The team are friendly, approachable and always ready to offer advice. Highly recommended. Excellent service Lucy and Sarah at the Lettings Team were also amazing. They arranged all the paperwork to rent, helped us sort our checks and get us updated with each and every step of the rental process ( something we had not done before). Ryder and Dutton completed selling our property on 7th June in Cowlersley. Leanne was very accommodating when we first approached to sell the property and put it on the market within a week. Nicola managed the whole process of the sale and was very communicative throughout, she was very approachable and extremely helpful and calming through a stressful time. She contacted us regularly to keep us updated throughout the process. Ryder and Dutton have just completed selling our first property in Slaithwaite and managed the buying of our new home. Leanne was very accommodating when we first approached to sell the property and put it on the market within a week to suit our holiday. TrustpilotBest to Avoid this Estate Agency..
I was served section 21 notice just just after 6 months of renting the property, they claimed the owner wanted to sell and I offered to buy. They then came back to me that the Landlord is no more interested in selling and a family member was moving in. I eventually moved out. Alas, time to pay my deposit came, the agency and the landlord came up with various excuses to avoid paying back my deposit. By the way I am a very compliant tenant, paid on time, even emailed to ask them what my balance is before I moved out and paid every penny. I did not trash the property and the property was handed back the way we met it. I have a decent amount to purchase a property, emailed 2 of their sales team members already but will never even go near them as I am so disappointed in them right now.I am so so disappointed that they are trying to avoid to pay back my deposit with all tricks in the book. This is my money and I want it back fully.

Simply the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Alice Rimmer and the staff at the Ashton branch are great to deal with, professional and totally on the ball. They sold mother's property within days of listing and then their Move Manager, Geraldine Marsden took over to very ably shepherd the sale to completion. That is such a valuable role because it saved me the hassle and worry of chasing people up.

I sold my house via the Heywood branchCatherine Salisbury was fantastic all the way through, extremely knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the previous whether it be good or bad news regarding viewings, etc.You can tell that Catherine & the rest of the team (Jenna, etc.) work really well together & the response whenever i called was up to speed & answered very professionally & friendly, so much so that at times i felt i was the only client they had. Nothing was too much trouble & although the house selling experience can be quite stressful, the R&D team at Heywood made it far easier than i've ever experienced previously. Thank you
