I am highly satisfied with the personal service of Caitlin McCartney as my property manager throughout the deposit return process. Right from the start she kept me informed about the amount of deposit to be returned. After everything was settled financially she personally made sure that I got my money straight away.

TrustpilotAgent never showed up to house viewing
Was meant to have a house viewing and the agent didn’t show up. When I called the office they couldn’t get in contact with him and just sent me home. Wasted over 2 hours of my time by making the 1 hour journey here from work and the 90 minute journey home. Looking for a house is hell enough without having my time and effort wasted at every hurdle!

Another agent that is all over you until you pay your contract deposit, then you don't even get a response to your email asking if they have it. Like the previous poster, I am now wondering if I will get ANY service from them when we need stuff fixing. Likely not.Edit - I have had a response on TP and will email hoping for a response.

If I could give negative stars I would. These people are purely incompetent and it should be made known. Whether it’s deceptive marketing tactics (even for real estate agents, come on 3 year contracts are not a thing) to “property management” that includes: live fire hazards in the property for several months, broken doors/windows, no heating for several periods during the winter, short fuses that emitted smoke in the bedrooms. You really cannot make this stuff up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Notice any positive reviews below are all generic and really add nothing, I guess the customer relations team has nothing better to do

This estate agents and its staff are shocking. They have a total disregard for GDPR, as they have repeatedly called me 12 times, when then have never been given my details. Each time they have been advised of the wrong number, yet they still persisit in using a telephone number they have no permission to have stored on their database. If this is how they conduct themselves with a complete stanger, I cannot imaging how they treat clients!

TrustpilotROGUE LETTING AGENTS - WATCH THEIR ACTIVITY ON RELETTING
Rogue Letting Agency. Avoid if you can. On reletting they will get you to sign the reletting agreement including the Landlords signature so you think all is above board. You'll be led to think all is fine except Dexters do not act in Good Faith and do not 'Execute' the contract until the last minute. They rely on the word of the 'Binding Date' despite DocuSign being legally binding and having an audit trail of dates when the Landlord signed and you signed. In the background Dexters bide their time before coming back to you demanding additional rents to execute when you have no time to consider or look elsewhere, whilst they convince the Landlord they can get more rent for them 'in the market'. Its all about Dexters commission and greed. Make no mistake - Dexters do not act in good faith. Amazed The Property Ombudsman’s has anything to do with them - clearly they do not regulate them.

GoogleDexters have recently taking over the management of the property we have been renting for over 1 year now and we can honestly say they are one of the best agent's we have dealt with. All the agent's are very professional and always polite. Bailey in particular has been excellent in helping us with our tenancy renewal and any maintenance work needed in the property. GoogleJoe at Dexters offered great help in finding us the tenants in a timely manner. He and his team are very efficient and professional through the viewings and tenant vetting process, liaising with potential tenants to agree to a rental price even slightly above our expectations, within a tight timeframe and what's more offered great services to prep the flat (EICR and professional cleaning etc). Would highly recommend Dexters for renting out flats.
