GoogleAbsolutely disgraceful service. Discriminated me under the basis of not taking deposit dragged the application process out for 3 months mishandled under managed application and now left two weeks before I need to move properties complete utter failure I would not put my trust in them did get investigated by head office although there was never a solution and in the end changed letting agencies

GoogleWe have recently taken on a rented property while selling our current house before completing on our next purchase. The house we have rented was marketed by Leaders of Godalming. The letting agent we dealt with was Michael McGiff who throughout the whole process provided us with a 5 star service. He achieved this through his professional manner, attention to the fine detail and his humour. No question was too difficult to answer and he made sure we were always up to date with the proceedings. His advice was very helpful and he guided us through the process carefully making sure we understood the intricacies of what to us was a new environment. Leaders as a company should be proud of Michael as he is an asset to the vitally important role of customer facing; of the agents we have been dealing with from other companies over the last 3 months while attempting to secure a rental property, Michael stood head and shoulders above the other companies representatives. GoogleWe were lucky enough to have the wonderful Michael McGiff as our estate agent, we saw him at a property which is now our home in desperation after having 4 houses fall through! He was instantly understanding and took us under his wing and made it his mission to make sure this house stuck! I can happily say it did and now me, my partner and our young baby finally have a dream home! A genuine nice guy who always responded quickly and maintain a professional yet very friendly approach. GoogleWhen we moved into our rented property, our shower was dangerously broken - with water pouring from the electrical box. This was not fixed for 3 days, during the 2020 pandemic so we were unable to wash ourselves except using a sink (no bath in the property). In addition to this, Leaders have repeatedly neglected repairs our rental property in a timely fashion: we waited 5 weeks for our dishwasher to be fixed; we reported a broken window on March 11th 2021 and are still waiting for it to be fixed on June 2nd 2021; Leaders contracted handyman (P) has damaged the property while attending to conduct repairs as well as doing botched jobs which do not last. Leaders/our landlord have also breached the conditional terms of the tenancy agreement, which we signed in good faith and Leaders refuse to do anything about it other than blame our landlord. Avoid this estate agent as tenants looking in the Guildford area, we have never had such a terrible experience. We’d also suggest avoiding Leaders as a landlord in the Guildford area as the staff have only ever blamed our landlord for their unacceptable delays in repairing issues within the property that Leaders manage.

GoogleI have had some unpleasant experiences with agents before so Michael McGiff at Leaders was a breath of fresh air. The viewing was genuinely fun and informative and the process was made really simple by Michael’s explanation of the process and what to expect. Really impressed with how much of the leg work was taken out of my hands and dealt with by Michael- made the move so slick and painless.
