GoogleI can’t really add much more to the reviews on here, Mel and Mike have been brilliant to deal with and we have ended up buying and selling through them which has made the process as smooth as it can be. And Anita in the back office is a star in coordinating all the admin. They both know the local market well, are competitively priced and genuinely go the extra mile to help. I hope we never have to use their services again as they have found us our forever home but I would not hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleAs soon as I met Mel he came over as professional and honest, giving me a realistic price for the flat we were selling. He found us a buyer within 2 weeks and although there were delays in the processing he always did his best to hurry the sale on. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to sell a property.

I found both Mel and Mike so easy to get on with, always felt like they were on the other end of the phone when we needed them. Really liked the fact that they never pushed us on our sale of our flat and were patient so we could get the right price. On the purchase feel like they listened to want we were looking for and went over and beyond to find the perfect place for us which they succeeded. The service from start to end was excellent: - The marketing of my property was efficient and excellent; the quality of pictures & videos was fantastic and the property was listed the same day! - Negotiating and agreeing the sale was super easy, helped by the fact that Hipps are available 7 days a week until 10pm; there’s no need to wait for standard office hours to get things agreed. - The team provided excellent after sales support and really helped ensure we have a quick turnaround between agreeing the sale and completion. GoogleWe saw a number of agents to sell our house before deciding to go with Mel from Hipps. It was an easy choice as we were immediately drawn to his enthusiasm, pragmatism and obvious local knowledge of the housing market. Because Hipps is a local company in Guildford, we knew that we would have Mel himself on hand to guide us through the process. We accepted an offer on the first day of viewing and Mel demonstrated a keen understanding of our buyer and completed the sale, despite difficulties late on with our buyers solicitor. He was excellent throughout the process. He put us as the seller first, personally visited us during difficulties of the sale and dealt with all parties in the chain in a professional, even handed manner. Truly the glue that bound the whole process together! If we were to sell property again, we would certainly choose Mel without hesitation. A great guy who really believes in what he's doing. GoogleWe have just used Hipps for the second time and have been very impressed. Their initial valuation of the house was excellent and they got a number of people in to see the property straight away. They also supported up us when our first buyer pulled out and quickly put us back on the market and found us another buyer. Finally, when we were having issues with colicitors and other people in the chain they were always there at the end of the phone to offer advice, support and to advocate for us. Hopefully we won't, but if we do move again we will most certainly be using Hipps as our estate agents.

Mel gave excellent advice from the outset and then Jen took over, quickly finding us the right buyer. Jen’s determination and sheer hard work in dealing with the many people involved and with the inevitable “bumps in the road” was just incredible. She was certainly the driving force behind the successful conclusion of our sale. I cannot recommend Hipps highly enough; they truly stand out as the best in their field.
