My husband and I were recommended to Mel from a mutual contact who said he was the only estate agent they would deal with to sell their property, and having used Hipps and Mel, we have a similar feeling. Having used estate agents in the past and never truly been happy with the service we were nervous and highly sceptical at the beginning, but it was a pleasure through the whole process. The service was above and beyond in every aspect, clear plans and strategies were discussed and everything was carried out according to those plans. What really set Mel and Hipps apart though was that at every point we felt like we had someone that was working to ensure we were happy and comfortable, not that they were working for a fee, or trying to get a quick sale which is so often the case. As a result we very quickly trusted everything he said and took his advice on how to position and price the property, how to handle negotiations and what to do at every stage. Even when we faced challenges like losing a buyer because we were taking too long to find somewhere the service was superb, we never received any pressure from Hipps, instead just the constant reminder that this was about us and to make sure we were happy, that they were happy to work hard to get back to the same position again, which they did. We are now looking forward to moving into a dream property and feel we wouldn’t be here without Mel and the Hipps team. We genuinely can’t say enough positive things about the experience and would recommend the service to all and sundry.

Having recently purchased a house marketed by Hipps, I can thoroughly recommend them. From friendly, polite, first encounter during enquiry, through to a relaxed viewing appointment (it was only later that we realised how long we spent looking around!). Then at offer stage I am extremely grateful for the effort Mel put in that resulted in our offer being accepted. Sure there were stresses during the selling/buying/moving process, but Hipps were in no way a contributor and I wish them all the best!
