GoogleExcellent customer service! As student first time renters we are new to this process. Daniella (the agent assigned to us) has been extremely helpful. We've had a lot of questions during the entire process and she's been able to answer the vast amount we had within a very short time! We highly commend her in her job role, especially as she shows constant professionalism and is able to complete requests in a very short period of time!

GoogleAbout as good as the other agents in the area, although I've experienced much better. Originally got involved because the property I liked was listed with them rather than the service itself. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to end my contract early, which is something they dealt with professionally so credit to them for that. When it comes to the legal side of letting, they are good. I've generally found other Estate Agents have better customer service with faster, more succinct responses. That's not to say Cavender's are bad, just I feel I've experienced better elsewhere

GoogleTruly the most appaling estate agents/ letting agents I've come across. Awful service: never call back when they promise to, constant mistakes with any legal documents and clearly were NOT prepared or knowledgable regarding the property we viewed. Made false and incorrect promises regarding the apartment in mind (eg. such item will be included) to find out that it was in fact not included ... Once in apartment, needless to say we have not heard from Cavender since, which is frankly a relief. Shambles from start to finish.

Hi Mia. Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I am sorry that you feel let down by the service you received. I have taken some time to look in to this situation and it appears there was a typing error on one of the addresses on the Tenancy agreement. I believe my colleague Jamie rectified this as soon as she was made aware of the error. I am sorry for any inconvenience that was caused. If you are able to e mail matt@cavenders.co.uk and give me further details about who you dealt with and why they were not prepared or knowledable, I can look in to this further. I am keen to ensure if there are training oversights, these are dealt with ASAP. I believe that you thought the property was going to be completely repainted throughout when it was agreed and stated in the tenancy paperwork that the landlord would repaint 'where required'. Once you had let us know that you wanted the property repainted throughout, we discussed this with your landlord who allowed you access a week before the tenancy commenced to carry out this work. As we do not manage the property or collect the rent, we would not normally be in contact with you once your tenancy commenced. However, if there is anything that is still outstanding, please contact me on 01483 457728 or matt@cavenders.co.uk and I will happily look in to this. Thanks again for your comments and I look forward to hearing from you.

GoogleComplete chaos. When helping us find a property they would only show us ones above our budget. Then when leaving made no formal attempts to help us move or find a new place. And I was amazed to find out they would not confirm with us house viewings for new tenants at our place, but would just send an email on the day and turn up. I have currently been out of that property for 2 weeks now and they have kept delaying the return of our deposit. Disappointing and dishonest. Will never use them again.

Hi Melissa I am sorry that you feel let down by your experience. Naturally we can only show you properties that we have on the market and whilst they may have been above your budget, I am pleased that we did find you the right one in the end which you moved in to. When you were leaving this property, we were not able to help with your search as we did not have any properties that suited your requirements/ budget. When we are booking viewings with people occupying the property, we always aim to give as much notice as possible. We also always state that if the appointment is inconvenient, let us know and we will rearrange it. I am sorry that there was an occasion that you had not received our e mail prior to the appointment. As soon as we had your Landlords confirmation we were able to release your deposit, we did. I am sure you can understand that we are not able to release these funds until we have both the Landlord & Tenant agreement on the amounts to be returned. If we can assist in any other way, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Tom Sternson helped us with the entire process and has been efficient, honest and very helpful. What is normally a headache and a stressful process with most estate agents, was an easy and stress-free one for us because of Tom.
