GoogleI had a really great experience with this agency. Joey in particular was excellent - he organised a prompt viewing, answered all my questions, and was very friendly. After having my offer accepted, he was still super responsive to my queries pre and post moving in.

GoogleWe had a very positive experience with Foxtons, who sold our flat in Woolwich for us. They were extremely knowledgeable and helped every step of the way. Adelle was amazing, and I felt that she was easy to contact and always got back to me with answers to my questions. Thanks to her we went from offer to completion in just over 10 weeks!

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

We listed our house with foxtons and the service has been abysmal. There’s been next to no effort or movement with trying to sell the house, no communications with any options etc. You get an account online which shows upcoming viewings - almost all viewings ‘booked’ haven’t actually happened and they don’t contact us to confirm it either. You expect a lot from an estate agent with their level of commission - dont bother.

GoogleAdelle Pepa from Woolwich Foxtons has helped me in purchasing a leasehold property. Adelle has showed me a range of properties within my budget so I never felt I had limited choices. She has been very helpful, patient and calm with all the enquiries and kept me updated throughout the entire process. She not only dealt with any technical hiccups but was actively chasing both sides of solicitors, managing agents, vendor and lenders. All the queries where dealt with utmost professionalism and care; and the entire purchase was very efficient and completed on time. GoogleAdelle Peppa was the estate agent for the first time purchase of our home. In all honesty, if it was not for her, I don’t think we would be able to say we are home owners! Foxtons we’re great, but Adelle worked tirelessly to support us, communicated with both sides and did potentially more chasing and work than all of the solicitors combined. She was genuinely amazing throughout and absolutely kept our spirits up when things seemed tough. She even stuck with us to the very end when we got our keys and fixed our lock when we couldn’t get in. She deserves every ounce of praise I could give, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you buy a house with Foxtons, ask for Adelle!

used to be good but ever since the intro of the renters rights acts, property management service has dropped off a cliff. This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

I put my flat up for sale with my Foxtons, I was going to go with another agent but they were very pushy and said how they managed to sell better than anyone so I went with them. I was under the impression my flat would go straight up but after I signed the contract it took them 2 weeks to take photos and put them up, in the meantime they put up a video of the flat from a mid-term inspection where it looked absolutely disgusting. I had never seen this video and I don't see why it would be allowed to be put up without my permission, I asked for it to be removed, they didn't and it took them nearly the 2 weeks to remove it. The photos they took were adequate but not particularly great, I was pretty disappointed. I felt that the price was extremely over inflated (like all their prices) but respected they knew better than me, but when every single person gave feedback that it was way overpriced and no one showed any interest I became quite embarrassed. I found it very hard to contact my sales agent and just gave up most times after leaving numerous messages. I heard from my agent 10 times more before I signed with them than I did during my contract. When I gave notice 28 days before the end after having no interest, I was reminded how they are the number one and warned that going to another agent would not solve the issue. Their commission is so much more than everyone else but I feel my experience with their sales agent was extremely poor and I can't believe I had no interest in my nice flat. I feel I made a mistake going with them and would caution anyone thinking of them. Also I rented my flat with them for nearly 2 decades and my last tenant emailed them notice which they said they did not receive until the next day so they extended the end date to one day beyond the end of the month, they then charged me a management fee of £9 for the one day (and she paid £1 something rent for that one day). I will never rent with them again due to the complete lack of transparency with regards to money. (As for the excuse that the housing market is quiet I put my other property up for sale at the same time and it sold within 2 weeks, but then again the photos were really good and the price was reasonable).

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

I've been fortunate that since Ariana has taken over as the lettings manager things have been as smooth as silk. Businesses are made by the people who work there and since she joined things have been terrific. Responsive and proactive, and making a real difference.

GoogleCannot be trusted. One of the agents was given unattended access to my apartment and left the external door open to the outdoor terrace for 3 days whilst I was away. Came back to mess from the wind blowing things inside, as well as clear evidence that pigeons had been in. Gave Rachel Bird, sales manager the chance to rectify it by doing the honest thing and arranging a domestic service to clean the mess but got completely ignored by her. No accountability or integrity. Would avoid.

GoogleFantastic Agency. Back in 2019 Eric Tarmulis found my wife and I the perfect property to rent at the time, this was managed by foxtons over our 5 year stay with excellent service. Now that our landlord decided to sell we went back to Eric to find our new place and he's been incredible in finding places that would suit us due to his experience with the royal arsenal estate. He actually found 3 places that would be great for us, but due to landlords being less than helpful the first 2 fell through, but the final one is the best of the lot and he helped negotiate a fair price locked for 3 years. Now we have another 3 years at least managed by foxtons and could not be happier.
