Landlords don’t be fooled by the nice offices and friendly staff. They are ruthless. They take 13 percent + VAT for rent collection only and lock you in for 5 years. It’s not the tenants we need protecting from. It’s the ruthless agents.

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

Google⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars I’ve had an excellent experience working with Daniela Gomes at Foxtons Blackheath. She has been incredibly supportive and efficient throughout the entire lettings process. Daniela visited my wife and me at our home to help us complete all the necessary paperwork, and she also guided me through the online landlord licence application, which I had been struggling with. She is very polite, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. I’m extremely grateful for her assistance and highly recommend

Terrible service. Very disappointed. I found a short let property on their portal myself, the agent (Amir Abbasian) kept suggesting either awful properties, or ones over my budget. They were very quick to call back and close the deal but once the deal was made, I never once was able to speak directly to my agent Olivia Taylor, or anyone from Foxtons again. Repeated messages and email queries went unanswered. Every two weeks a new person would be in touch and all my queries would be ignored. The property was nice and in good condition but i paid Foxtons 350 pounds for the end of tenancy clean, and was slapped with a 600 pound cleaning claim on my deposit. The property was never cleaned and my landlord claimed the charges from my deposit. at least a dozen emails later, I still don't have a protection document number for my deposit. I was told my deposit was protected. I ws told I would be provided an inventory upon moving in. I was told the place would be cleaned at the end of my tenancy, for which i paid. None of the above happened. Still waiting for part of my deposit to be returned, even though they said it was transferred three weeks ago and should take 5 to 7 days to be credited. I've settled the dispute with my landlord now, even though it is extortion, but it seems even he was being cheated by Foxtons.

We listed our house with foxtons and the service has been abysmal. There’s been next to no effort or movement with trying to sell the house, no communications with any options etc. You get an account online which shows upcoming viewings - almost all viewings ‘booked’ haven’t actually happened and they don’t contact us to confirm it either. You expect a lot from an estate agent with their level of commission - dont bother.

GoogleI would recommend this Foxtons office for anyone looking to rent a place in Blackheath and its environs. Seamus and Hafsa took a hands-on approach during my house search. Seamus was patient and able to recommend various properties to me, considering that I had a dog. I ultimately had to look in a different area but I will definitely recommend Seamus to any potential tenants and even landlords in the area. He would advocate for you, show you the best places and communicate in an effective manner. Thanks Seamus and Hafsa!!!

GoogleAdam Priscak and team helped us get our dream home. We were seeing a lot of houses around Lewisham and Greenwich, and dealing with a lot of estate agents. Adam was timely and helpful showing us a property in Blackheath, that wasn't quite right. But from our discussions, he quickly realised there was a house a suburb away that would suit us better, and quickly arranged a viewing and met us over there. We would have had a good impression of Adam from the first house, but seeing him really understand what we were searching for, made this an "A+ would buy again" experience.

The people who stood out for me were the sales representative Adam Priscak and Shania Montagne Longue . Adam was very knowledgeable about the area and his properties despite the fact that he started to work for this branch not a long time ago. He provided tips and advice on potential for each property we saw. Shania is an office coordinator at Blackheath office. She took great care of me while I was there by sharing information about the area and making a nice coffee for me. Thanks, team, at Foxtons for making the searching for the right property less stressful. You were top class 👌

GoogleShameful. I can't speak for all Foxtons branches, the experience I have had with Foxtons Blackheath is abysmal. Communication is non-existent. Constantly chasing for simple updates but being ignored for weeks on end. Often, blatantly ignored. Completely unsupportive in any situations we faced with our rented property. Sent people out to play devil's advocate when landlord visited property and made suggestions at the time that seemed reasonable for both landlord and myself but this was just to appease temporarily. Nothing was followed through and when I queried this, I was ignored. Had to get the council involved to support with damp and mould in the property as Foxtons provided no support whatsoever. I will actively encourage anyone to avoid Foxtons at all costs. To anyone looking to rent a property, I would avoid Foxtons, especially if Foxtons are 'managing' the property.

GoogleI got locked out my flat and my property manager Harry Fox was not answering as usual. Luckily the landlady although in a completely different part of the country was able to give me the Foxtons Blackheath office number to try. I called and explained the situation. I spoke to Samantha Wilson from the sales team and she was an absolute angel and went the extra mile to help me. I couldn’t go to the office myself as I was still in my pyjamas in the cold with little phone battery, didn’t know the location of the office either. Samantha was able to come to the property and open the door for me. She was very quick as well. She literally saved the day. I would like to thank her for her help, I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Thank you so much Samantha!

GoogleTim Standings is the best person I have dealt with when I needed to get my property rented out. He is extremely knowledgable, has great soft skills & is so professional. I have been working with him for the past few months & recently agreed to long let my property. It took him 24 hours to find multiple offers. Super smooth & enjoyable to work it. Highly recommend! Emi Mustafa & Samantha Wilson have also been an absolute joy to work with. I look forward to working with them again in the near future. Fingers crossed!
