Purchased a property through the Gosport Office. Unfortunately it was not the smoothest process but that was due to my poor choice of conveyancing solicitor. Sian was a brilliant help through this, from always keeping in contact with me, to chasing my solicitor on a daily basis and generally doing everything she could to make the situation easier to deal with. Deeply Disappointing Experience, Strood Mann Sales and Letting Agents

Our experience with Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood has been deeply disappointing. As someone with experience in leadership, I can confidently say that the issues my family faced clearly stem from leadership, as the agency has failed to take accountability for their poor service. The signs were there from the very first calls and continued all the way through. Appointment punctuality and coordination were major issues from the beginning. Scheduled viewings were consistently delayed, leaving us in uncomfortable situations and forcing us to personally show prospective buyers around our property. This lack of punctuality and disregard for our concerns was unacceptable. This not only inconvenienced us but also left us feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. Moreover, prospective buyers also expressed dissatisfaction with their poor experience e.g left waiting outside properties, unclear instructions and poor communication.Transparency regarding the terms of the sole agency contract was also lacking. Critical details, such as the length of the agreement, were not adequately discussed, leaving us feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the process.Furthermore, the advertising of our property on Rightmove and other platforms was subpar. We were left to request enhancements and updates, reflecting poorly on the agency's commitment to effective marketing.Despite our attempts to address these issues, the agency has refused to take responsibility and has closed ranks. Even after following the 'official' complaints process, they have refused to allow us to alter the length of the contract or even to move to a multi-agency agreement, which is a basic and straightforward solution that can easily be done and has been advised by other professionals in the industry.I strongly caution against entrusting your property sale to Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood. Should you decide to proceed with them, heed this advice: never concede to a sole agency contract, demand meticulous attention to the advertising of your property, and scrutinise every detail of the contract, particularly its duration. I firmly advocate for a contract length of no more than 4 weeks or 28 days. Furthermore, be resolute in avoiding coercion into utilising their in-house financial services. Despite our repeated insistence on retaining our trusted brokers, Mann Co persistently pressured us until we were compelled to inquire whether our decision to use our own brokers would pose a problem, emphasising the importance of asserting your preferences firmly.Overall, our experience has been disappointing, and we hope our feedback prompts Mann Sales and Letting Agents to reassess their practices, processes, and procedures and strive for improvement in the future. Now, we find ourselves left to wait out the length of the contract as they refuse to alter it. As a family with two young children, aged 2 and 4, it's evident that our needs have been consistently overlooked and disregarded throughout this entire ordeal.

In short, avoid. They'll do anything, including lying to get your to rent a property through them, and will then do anything to ignore any follow up after you've signed the tenancy agreement. They missold the property after advertising the property as refurbished despite several major repairs such as hot water and lights needing repairs. Mann ignored several requests until I threatened to civil proceedings to unwind the tenancy. There is also several pieces of information in my tenancy which are incorrect the most harrowing as simple as when and how I'm going to be billed for utilities. I was told that I'm responsible for utilities and even had my information sent off to utility companies. The utility companies turned round and said we don't bill this property directly, ask your landlord or agent who manages the property as to how you're going to be billed. Mann Countrywide are the agent managing the property and as of yet has not been clarified the situation 2 months later and despite 8 emails and a phone call. Mann have acted unprofessionally in regards to my matters above. They'd do anything to let the property, even managing to do a viewing and all the paperwork during the COVID-19 lockdown. After which they then try to use it as an excuse for not respond to emails and calls after the tenancy agreement has been signed.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Worst estate agent (£1200 not refunded)

Worst estate agent, whole company is full of scam (its mortgage advice, solicitor panel). They have taken advance payment of £399 for solicitor search and £798 for mortgage for my potential buy. Later the seller pulled from process and I have asked for refund, but they are not refunding my money. This is worst company in the UK to deal with property, mortgage, solicitor panel.

Absolutely disappointed and regretting…

Absolutely disappointed and regretting I chose MANN woolwich , Victoria wasn’t supportive and helpful at all, I rented a house 3 weeks ago, when I went in there was no hot water at all. Been chasing and going to the agency in woolwich every day and until today there is still not hot water in the property. Never ever trust them especially Victoria. I can’t believe that in 21st century I need to use kettle to have shower . Thank you @mannwoolwich
