We have had excellent service from James and James from start to finish. It was certainly not an easy ride, with a broken chain , a flakey rogue valuer and what seemed like endless little set backs. All of this was skilfully managed by Nick. He is a terrier of estate agents and kept the show on the road even when it was looking bleak. I went to the Team after our last sale fell through. Our house was on the market 5 months at the point it fell through. I discussed with Shona who was very helpful. We did a quick photo refresh. I viewed many properties they were selling so I know how proactive the team are for the sellers. When our house went back on it sold within 4 weeks (2 of which were Easter holidays) it was hassle free and I bought my new home with them. The team went above and beyond for me and I truly cannot thank them enough for their skills, knowledge and stress free experience during a stressful time. I’m very disappointed with my experience with this agency. I contacted them about a property almost immediately after it was listed and received no response for over a week. After the bank holiday weekend, I called to follow up because there was an open house viewing scheduled and we were genuinely very interested in the property. The first person I spoke to told me they would get back to me, but nobody ever did. I called again later that same day and unfortunately the second agent seemed completely uninterested and unable to answer even the most basic questions about the property or viewing process. I understand not every staff member will know every detail instantly, but I would at least expect some professionalism, communication, and willingness to help. It honestly felt like speaking to someone who simply did not care. I find it concerning that an agency representing properties cannot provide basic information to serious potential tenants/buyers. In the end, nobody followed up with me by phone or message despite promising to do so. Very poor communication and customer service overall. I very rarely leave reviews, whether positive or negative, so for me to take the time to write this says a lot about how disappointing this experience was.

I used James and James to sell my property recently. I can’t rate them highly enough for the care and professionalism they showed throughout the whole process. I knew that they would be very invested in making sure everything went to plan as they really care about the business. Jim came to value my flat and do the initial work and it was then presented beautifully for sale. A buyer was found really quickly. The app is handy to keep track of everything but as the sale progressed Nick was my main point of contact. He worked really hard to chase up things when frustrations arose from the other side and made things much less stressful. All of the Team are really decent hard working people and they thoroughly deserve a brilliant review. Thanks James and James. I will definitely use you again.

I'm really annoyed about the contact. I emailed to arranged a viewing. Was told to call, which I tried to do but there was no answer, so I went back to emailing. I was offered a viewing time and I responded 10 mins later to accept the viewing time and then I got an email 2 days later saying that viewing time isn't available anymore. I again emailed back about 10 mins later and I have heard nothing back. Extremely unprofessional.

Thank you so much for such a positive yet smooth selling experience. I choose home sweetly homes when I bought my previous house three years ago. They were selling the home I bought. I had three failed attempts to move. They were completely understanding and worked with their clients to ensure I didn't lose the sale. That I was always grateful for. When deciding I was selling their market valuation to potential home report mortgage valuation was closest. Secondly no marketing fees meant no upfront costs and locked in fees if house didn't sell. Their fixed fee was highly competitive against other estate agents.A professional service start to finish. We purchased a house in ferring via James and James recently. Aaron was the agent who showed us around the house. He was friendly, polite and clearly a very experienced negotiator. Once our offer was accepted Aaron was exceptional at ensuring the sale ‘got over the line’.
