GoogleThank you Leigh and Sherrie for selling my house. You were very helpful and made the process a lot easier than it would have been otherwise! I would certainly recommend you to family and friends. Thanks again, Jenny.

TrustpilotAvoid!
If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants. I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned. Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.

TrustpilotAvoid, none professional
If I could, I wouldn't give even one star. The agency/agent worked on behalf of one of owners, helping to delay and stalling the sales process for one owners benefit. And personal gain, as recieving money for this from said owner. Often not replying, selective replies, replying with delays once recieve instructions from other owner.

TrustpilotWhere do I start? Dreadful people.
Where do I start? I rented an apartment from the Bedminster branch, and it was an unbelievably awful experience from beginning to end. They lied about the opening inventory, there was no hot water or heating for most of the tenancy period (and they literally couldn't even be bothered to reply, let alone sort the problems out), they lied about damage caused when I left (which I did not cause), and now they refuse to communicate with me regarding the return of my deposit. Needless to say they are also withholding my deposit with no legitimate reason whatsoever. It would be really difficult to find a worse company to deal with. They treated me shockingly badly, lied through their teeth, and are trying to steal my deposit. Just awful. Avoid at all costs. UPDATE: 3 months later, I opened a dispute with Taylors via MyDeposits and submitted my honest evidence to counteract their lies and today received the deposit refund in full. Keep evidence of everything Taylors tell you (they WILL lie later on), take photos of everything, take videos of everything..... eventually, you will get your money back from these rogues (as long as you are being honest).

GoogleAs a letting agency I won't even bother renting from them! Never answer the phone, never pick up any messages - so far I've called more then once a day every day for the last 5 days to pay rent - not a single call back or an answered phone. Untill very recently no out of hours number on the answer phone, which left us with no water for a complete weekend as a pipe burst late on a friday! 6 people living in the house unable to even flush the toilet!

Trustpilotoxford - Absolutely useless and infuriating
Absolutely useless and infuriating - they feed you empty promises and lies constantly saying they have done what you asked and then you realise they actually never did - over and over again rinse and repeat - they will NEVER respond to your issues with the house you rented unless it is an emergency that will damage the house never mind that it is a risk to your health unless you literally ring them up every day multiple times for 2 whole infuriating months and then eventually maybe they will do something after you say you will put in a formal complaint but not after they tried to gaslight you first saying nothing is wrong

They claim we stained the carpets (WE ACTUALLY CLEANED THE PREVIOUS TENANT'S STAINS), they claim we put nails in the walls (we didn't!!!), they claimt he oven wasn't clean (WE CLEANED IT THOROUGHLY WHEN WE ARRIVED AS IT WAS COVERED IN FOOD DEBRIS, LEFT IT MUCH MUCH MUCH CLEANER THAN WE FOUND IT), claimed we didn't clean the fridge and freezer (outright lies), claim we stained a wall (WHEN WE CLEANED THE HEAVILY STAINED WALLS WHEN WE ARRIVED AND THE ONLY STAIN WE COULND'T REMOVE WAS THE STAIN THEY CLAIM WE PUT THERE), the company is a total disgrace; dishonest from start to finish. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE AN HONEST PERSON.

GoogleI'm just gutted I can not give a minus star for these inept bunch of clowns.
My property has been without hot water for over 3 weeks now. Whenever I phone to chase up I'm given basic lip service and given the distinct impression that I'm just an inconvenience to who ever I speak to.
They charge random admin fees for literally doing nothing the last was for my renewal of my tenancy where nothing had changed bar the dates.
If you want an estate agent that actually does something, choose anyone else... literally anyone. If you want a company that is good at taking your money and NOTHING else.... these are your clowns.
**** further the reply from Jake at the branch, I had already escalated my complaints via the correct channels and revived an email from one of the main Clowns in this circus operation, who basicly said "tough" and congratulated herself as to what a wonderful job they had all been doing in their little offices away from the real world.****

This is the most incompetent and unethical agent I have ever dealt with - after 3 months I still have not received my deposit back and they sent a million pictures of “dirt” from a room I never rented… no response when I said this was not my room… no sign of my money. If any problems with the house they will not respond either when I was renting. Terrible

Do not let/ sell with this company absolute joke. They have let a property next to me. They hired a gardener who destroyed the boundary between houses, have been chasing them for weeks to have it fixed only to be told I need to chase the gardener They hired. The ignore every email. Also left there tenants with young children without water in the property for days. Rude staff.

I recently visited TAYLORS SALES AND LETTING AGENTS for the first time, and I must say that I am extremely pleased with the level of customer service I received. During my visit, I had the pleasure of speaking with Saqad Rafiq, who went above and beyond to assist me. He was incredibly helpful and showed a genuine willingness to help me achieve my desired outcome. I am looking forward to continuing to work with him and the rest of the team at TAYLORS SALES AND LETTING AGENTS.

TrustpilotUseless
I have never dealt with such an unprofessional, rude and ultimately useless company! If you trust this bunch of morons to sell/ lease your house you need to have you head examined, trust me you would be better doing it yourself... They offer poor advice with little guidance, they are lazy and unresponsive but worst of all they are rude and unprofessional - what more would you desire from someone who is meant to be assisting you with probably the biggest purchase/ most stressful thing you can do in life. Trust me, stay well clear otherwise you will soon regret it!!!

TrustpilotDo not rent from these people
Do not rent from these people. They are an absolute nightmare. From day one they will extort any fee from you they can and when you leave the property they will continue to extort from your deposit. I have been renting in Oxfordshire for 30 years and they are the worst I have experienced. The property management is a nightmare. It took them over six months to fix a leak in the bathroom by which time the water damage was extensive. They do not acknowledge any improvements you make to the property. I fixed a wobbling doorstep, repainted the front door, garage door, and window surrounds as well as the fascia, at my own personal expense, but they extorted £280 from my deposit for some scuffed paintwork and minor damage to a carpet which hadn't had any work done to it despite annual intrusive inspections. They said they would try to keep us as sitting tenants by seeking investors to sell the property to, but absolutely no attempt was made to do this. So pleased to be finally rid of them. Absolute nightmare company.

TrustpilotShambolic, avoid if possible
You deal with the local agents to view and sign the contract for the property, The inventory is sent by email after you have moved in which is too late, another dept based in a different part of the country deals with repairs. When you leave you deal with yet another drpt in another part of the country and then the inventory when you leave is done days after you have vacated by yet another dept in yet another part of the country. Inventory aren't cross referenced but the one when you leave is done in far more detail than the one given you when you move in. For example and filthy bathroom with cupboards full of sanitary items and burnt candles missed! Missed but on the leaving inventory dust on the mantlepiece picked up. None of the dept talk to each other and none get back to you either. 18 days after moving out still no response about my deposit. Avoid this agency if at all possible, 33yrs of renting and worse agency I have come across

TrustpilotIncompetent and disorganised
Slow staff, very impersonal, made moving that much harder. After seeing a property on rightmove we contacted Taylor’s in the middle of August 22. They said they would be in touch and never contacted us. We rang a further 5 times, offered to pay a holding deposit and explained we needed to be moved by mid September at the latest, had sorted out finance and checks all ourselves to speed the process along. Each time we were told no one had taken our details and never contacted. Today (October 4th) I have just received my first phone call from them asking if I’m still wanting to move.

TrustpilotA truly horrible experience
Having spent over six months attempting to purchase a house through this agent I cannot offer any other advise other than to avoid them at all costs. From withholding information which ultimately aided the sale falling through to receiving persistent and aggressive phone calls I simply don't have a good word to say about the Gloucester branch. All three agents that I dealt with were neither knowledgeable or provided satisfactory customer service and on several occasions where tight deadlines were due to be met, they simply turned their email and phone off and ignored it until it was too late. The sale fell through only to see it relisted on the website the same day for a significant amount more with no communication as to if we would be willing to pay the additional beforehand. These agents should be offering advice to sellers around the actual value of their properties as opposed to just appeasing them which is all they seem effective at.With the sale falling through on this property on 24th June we have since exchanged on another property which goes to show it can be done quickly, effectively and professionally; sadly just not when it comes to Taylors.
