He was really helpful, approachable, and always happy to answer our questions, which made the whole process much less stressful. We really appreciate all his support and would definitely recommend Move to anyone looking for student accommodation.

From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping us understand whether the home was the right fit. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and gave me the space to look around without any pressure. What stood out most was his professionalism and honesty, qualities that made the whole process smooth and reassuring. Because of Harry’s guidance, I now feel confident moving forward with the property. Move lettings are the best so far .

I used Move as my agents to rent out my property, after an initial strong start finding me good tenants the service continuously failed to provide an acceptable standard including not completing repairs authorised, confirming contractual arrangements were in place (in writing) which were not, failing my boiler and quoting me an astronomical cost for replacement 2nd opinion confirmed slight issue with a crack in a plastic part with no safety issues, emails not answered. Generally avoid this agency if you value your sanity and money and want to ensure your property is looked after.

FacebookDo not trust that you will actually have your property until after you move in!! We will never use Move lettings again! A week before our move in date we receive a call telling us the landlord’s circumstances have changed and he will need the property back after 4 months, everything signed, paid for, notices given on current properties and they seemed to think it reasonable we move with our son in to this now temporary accommodation. When we discussed that if we were to move into the property we would need some sort of compensation for the emotional and financial cost this has and will cause us they went on the defence of the landlord straightaway and thought it was ok firstly this has happened and while yes I get it is the landlords property that if we were to pull out of a signed 12 month tenancy we would of had to pay costs and could even have been taken to court for the loss of rent. After a very stressful 24 hours of tears from all including my son who was looking forward to moving back near his friends and after speaking to other agents who couldn’t believe this was happening to us and that Move would even let a landlord’s property out when the landlord did not have stable accommodation of his own we decided the stress was too much and the thought of living with that stress for 4 months knowing we would have been homeless if we didn’t find anything in the meantime we had little choice but to withdraw from the property (I believe the intention was to make this happen anyway). We spoke to our current landlords who both had far more care about us being homeless in the situation and rescinded our notices. There has been costs occurred that we cannot recover and when we asked for our money back they said it would take 5 working days, luckily they obviously have a more caring accounts department as our monies were returned by the end of that day. If you chose Move as a tenant don’t trust that you will actually move into the property until you are there and if something goes wrong they will not defend or protect you in anyway. We have never been through anything this stressful (and we’ve both been through a lot in life) and Move did not support us in any way.

Your landlord had a last-minute change in personal circumstances that we had no control over at all, I'm afraid. I hope you manage to find another property without delay and once again, we are sincerely sorry you were left in this predicament.

GoogleFirst time ever viewing with or dealing with Move and if they treat everyone as they have us then I couldn't recommend them more! Viewed with Rachel Clayton who was very helpful even before the viewing, correspondence were swift and helpful too, viewing went well and from that to being accepted for that property including all referencing only took 2 days!! Blisteringly fast for an estate agent in this day and age where I have found no others to be very helpful or professional in all honesty. Was a pleasure to deal with all involved.

GoogleMy experience in looking into buying a property with Move has been great. Rebecca has given me plenty of advice, and options, and was a keen listener to what I wanted. She's a real asset to the team, and I'm sure she's well respected for her professionalism and her social skills. She handled my needs with care and treated me like a person and not a paycheck. If everyone at Move is like Rebecca, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to my friends, family, and even strangers (hence this review!). Move has a good selection of properties, and takes your needs into consideration above and beyond other companies when inviting you to view what they have available.

GoogleHad an excellent experience recently with Move. A property came to market that I wanted to see but I was only available the following day - they were able to juggle things around to get me in. James was extremely helpful at the viewing itself and the follow up afterwards with Paul was really good, friendly and not at all pushy. A pleasure to deal with.
