Peter Grieve, Operations Director at Martin & Co Gloucester, runs a very professional office. His sales and letting teams are very proactive and professional. We have bought a number of properties through Martin & Co. Adam Sambell understands our needs very well and whenever there is an appropriate property comes on the market, he will contact us. All sales matters are handled efficiently. The Lettings team with Ashley and Katie is extremely competent. They handle all our letting properties with efficiencies and our properties are never left empty for long when our tenants want to move on. The back office Admin team is very good as well as they prepare the annual statements for us to file our tax returns. With Martin & Co, we are worry free property buyers and landlords. Highly recommend their services.

Martin and Co were very helpful when we were finding student accommodation during lockdown for the next academic year. We were able to do a virtual tour and sort everything out online both quickly and efficiently. One of the tenants was abroad due to COVID restrictions but this didn’t cause any problems. An in person viewing has since been possible which is great. Overall we are very impressed indeed and looking forward to September 2021! Thank you.

After 12 years of managing several properties for me it is verry dispointing to be threatened with court. I was of the understanding letting agents were there to help and advise. In this case charged for a contractor to visit and report on works to be completed, and said ther contractor needs to undergo the works or they won't sign it off. Works I could have got completed by one of our contractors ended up costing hundreds and faced with cort threats when suggested the works are a 38% higher then ive been quoted. :(

We were with Martin&Co 2 years ago and left as circumstances changed meaning we needed a different size property and when our tenancy was ending we headed straight back to these guys as our old property was back out on the market - so here we are back with this amazing letting agents, fabulous staff, professional and so friendly and back in our old place ♥️ Any problems with our property are sorted out promptly and problems are never to big and they are always there at the end of the phone. Martin & Co Gloucester asked me to do a review, I had declined for a while as I was not very happy with them. I paid in total to lease a tiny flat in Manley Gardens , a non smoking block of flats, £ 4,400 for 6 months, the first month we were there we had no bath or shower that could be used, also no cooker, oven to cook Christmas dinner, were told we could use 1 ring at a time as it was plugged into a 13 amp plug and kept blowing the fuses. Just after we moved in we opened the door one morning , the whole inside area stunk of cannabis, I reported this to letting agent and heard no more about it, one of the smokers drives a school mini bus for disabled kids, depending on the state he's in sometimes the bus is parked just 18" from front door so we cannot get in, other times about 8 feet. We complained about this as it is supposed to be a no parking zone for emergency vehicles. A few weeks ago we had a section 21 non fault eviction notice , we are being kicked out for no reason , apart from legitimate concerns. Landlord and letting agents would rather have junkies in the property than old age pensioners . We paid a fortune for 6 months in the property. Beware they think nothing of the tenant, just want your money.

I think 2 starts is beyond fair . The only reason they get this they seem nice people... i won't go into to much detail but i know there's much more going on behind the phone. The simple things of calling back or sticking to any agreement is none existant. Some of the things they've suggested to avoid sending someone out to fix a blocked toilet / pump is a joke. Mop it up ? Theres no really sense of urgency . Surely a sanity issue is fairly important. The shower, toilet and sink all unusable for 3 days... quite unbelievable.

What bother us the most is that, these people don’t have the same answer every time we get back to them with an issue everyone tells us different lie, we doubt they get back to the landlord with any matter, we asked many times for the landlord details to contact him in person but they claim they can’t give us his details, and we can only deal with them, when the law clearly states we have the right to reach him Since we moved to the house all what we got is lies from those people, and trying to find anyway to charge you. Such a dirty business…

Aweful dishonest people. DO NOT believe good reviews, they are a lie, they are all lined up at the same time when my daughter had major issues with them over a month ago and she raised a formal complaint to their office mentioning others experiences with them. Nothing much was done by them to address their dishonesty not even an apology but to sum it up if you believed the good reviews you should know, A. their fees for letting is over £500. Do you really want to throw that in the garbage, because I would rather do that than dealing with them B. believe me, you will be signing a contract from hell. C. Worse of all, they treat tenants as they are nothing a nobody even if you pay your rent in time. Bottom line... Be careful and read reviews everywhere trustpiolet and allagent are you friends, research well before you sign up to the devil...
