Avoid avoid avoid . How these people can run a buisness is beyond a joke .was told we could fit washing machine before we moved in ,we bought a machine and were then told we could not use it They are rude ignorant people . Do not live above there shop on london road as all they do is slam doors all day and i mean all day and shout . Have had rivers pouring through ceiling took months to sort out . They come to do repairs with no notice then expect u to drop everything to let them in .if you dont they let themselfs in .. They dont care about tennents . Make a complaint and your out on ur ear . The good reviews they get must be from friends and family of the staff ....Avoid these jokers at all costs if you want to feel comfortable at home .

Over the past 8 years I have found CGT Lettings to be honest and fair with both Landlords and Tenants. They market properties effectively and find quality tenants quickly. The people in Gloucester office are always there to help and respond to requests quickly and effectively.

Ignore property issues.

Easy enough to rent from.The follow up is bad, no or slow replies when reporting issues. Their maintenance team were rude and incompetent.Had water company out instead who confirmed significant issues at the property. All ignored.We left.Full house inspection annually very invasive. Would not recommend.

I have been renting through CGT …

I have been renting through CGT Quedgeley for 7 Years and can not recommend them enough. When me and my partner found out we were expecting a baby we needed a bigger property (we were already renting off CGT at the time). i contacted CGT Quedgeley explaining this situation and they remained in contact with me and would call when they thought any properties that would suit our family came available. They truly went above and beyond for us. We are now happy in our new home thanks to all the girls in Quedgeley.

Save yourself the grief

After 15 years of rental all over the UK, I would never recommend CGT. Moved into a well presented house with a newborn and after a month it was clear this property was not fit with several rooms with black mould (regardless of venting). Issue raised and was clear it would be painted over by the maintenance team; as done so multiple times as told by said team. Once left the property they took 6 months to agree costs of repairs. They released our deposit in two stages both without our knowledge or consent!! Meaning it’s unlikely they are putting out deposits in an independent secure account as required!! All this is done with the bare minimum of communication and when you try and chase someone they are either on holiday for 2 months or have left the company, not great customer service. I should point out that we do also know that it’s very much the same as a landlord, the landlord in question here has taken their business elsewhere after years of messing around! They maybe the cheaper estate agents in Gloucestershire, but you do pay the price in other ways!

I'm a current tenant which I've asked to leave, I've had no hot water for 4 days & 6 weeks plus with hot water issues. The staff at the London Road branch are rude & have no manners or customer service skills. Went in this morning to hand my notice in was speaking to the manager & had a member of staff talk to me so rude in front of the manger & she just stayed quiet, I was then told to calm down I'm being rude.

Will leave you without basic amenities

Gloucester London road branch currently are leaving 2 young girls one of which is my niece without hot water or heating, one is not able bodied due to having had severe surgery less than a month ago!! They have been without either for a week now and are not making adequate effort to fix the situation. No heating for a week in November wouldn’t be acceptable to anyone

Avoid at all cost. Will not return your deposit. Poor maintenance was reported to CGT letting Gloucester few times. Staff failed to keep their countless promises to get the item repaired. At the end of the tenancy, CGT is demanding £225 to remove plastic lid for a storage box from the property. Absolutely poorly service not sure how they run a business. Would not recommend them at all.
