I lived in a property, maintained by cgt for nearly 7 years. I haven't ever had to deal with such a shambles letting agents in my life. Every inspection and chance I got I reported faults within my home, my biggest being damp and mould. Cgt didn't seem to care, along side the lack of care from the landlord, that's If complaints were even being sent over. I was informed the house was going up for sale, the sales team were ignorant, never answered calls, booked viewings and didn't turn up...when confronted about this I was served my notice 🤣 they even had my property up for sale in their window as a 2 bed, when it was a 1. The sale post to this day still states that i live there...when i moved out 3/nearly 4 months ago. There was inadequate heating to the point my home was below standards for health. I might aswell of slept in the garden in winter. When I spoke to someone about the damp and conditions I was told to move out if i didn't like it and to not boil the kettle for too long 🤣 the fight for my deposit back was disgusting, cgt are rip off merchants, wanting their commission and that's it. I wouldn't ever rent a property through them if my life depended on it. Let alone buy one, the amount the sales team lied through their teeth about the property let alone lack of knowledge about the property was unreal. Some staff towards the start of my tenancy were lovely, but after many staff changes it seemed to fall to shambles.

Don’t use this company ever!!!! An employee from the Stroud store called Sarah Broughton is a viscous and vindictive woman. She’s rude and patronising. She also is very insensitive and unprofessional. The director Nick Devonport is a very rude man and needs to keep his staff in check and get off his night horse.
