Great service from start to finish from Ryder & Dutton. Proactive and great communication, did what they said they would, when they said they would. Very friendly, professional and I would highly recommend them. A particular mention for Catherine Salisbury and Lewis McLarty who guided me through the whole process in friendly, knowledgeable and professional way. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Ashleigh is an absolute god send! Without her hard work, patience and professionalism I very much doubt we would have been able to buy our first place. She was incredibly patient and explained everything in a clear manner. She also replies to everything ASAP. She and all the staff are brilliant. Cannot recommend them enough.

Really pleased with the service and help we received whilst selling the property as executors. Catherine was great and kept us informed at every step. We didn't need to take time out to do the viewings either. I would highly recommend Ryder and Dutton.

My experience with Carmel Eveleigh in getting our dream apartment was nothing but beautiful and organised. At all levels, she could relate with us and understood how we felt at every point in time. She's never tired of listening to us or helping to solve every puzzle we encountered. Her comforting phrase is "leave it with me Michael, i will chase it up for you". I would like to say how impressed l was although giving short notice Ruth at Lindley /Huddersfield branch quickly and efficiently sorted me a new Tenancy Agreement plus taking time to talk me through the process and negotiate me through the bond procedure You have kept my tenants happy supplying them with paperwork/Agreement they urgently needed They were also impressed with the way you handled things for them having been unimpressed by another agent I would not hesitate to use your services again or recommend you to others RUTH DICKSON you are a credit to your profession and Ryder Dutton I would also like to say what a a warm greeting l received from everyone on entering your office All happy smiling faces Then every one wished me goodbye on leaving Truly Amazing

WORST ESTATE AGENT IN THE COUNTRY. Absolute shocking Estate Agents. DO NOT USE. They charge the highest fees in the industry and provide the worst service possible. They made an absolute mess of everything, very poor communication and didn’t return my calls or emails. Really struggled to get my fees back as they demanded more and more fees. Will never use again. STAY AWAY FROM RYDER AND DUTTON UNLESS YOU WANT A POOR SHODDY SERVICE AND WANT TO PAY EXTORTIONATE FEES. UPDATE 12 DECEMBER 2024The PRS Property Redress Scheme has now ruled in my favour and awarded me a substantial amount of compensation. Ryder and Dutton cannot charge £150 every time they want to send a contractor out for a quote. Ryder and Dutton cannot charge £185 to change 2 batteries in a smoke alarm. The fees Ryder and Dutton estate agents charge are horrendous and unfair.

Good Morning Mr Williams,We are obviously disappointed to read your review even if it is perhaps not unexpected. As we have said through our many communications you have a duty of care as a landlord to provide a property of good standard and tend to repairs that ensure your tenant is able to enjoy quiet enjoyment of their home. It was a great shame that you were unable to do this and that we needed to then negotiate the early exit of the tenant from the property which we managed to successfully do on your behalf. We wish you the best of luck with whichever agent you decide to market your property with next but would encourage you to consider your responsibilities as a landlord before doing so. Thank you for making us aware that you have put in a claim with the Property Redress Scheme as unfortunately we have not had any communication from them. We are in the process of querying why they have not contacted us in relation to your complaint for us to provide our side of the story. I can see that despite us not being able to put our side of the story across they have found against you and have actually agreed with our stance on your complaint that you raised directly with us previously. This is reflected in the small amount of money that you have been awarded which was awarded to you as communication could have been better in some small areas. As for the figures that you are quoting above, we have not sent contractors to the property to change batteries in a smoke alarm and our contractors do not charge £150.00 to go out and quote so I am unsure how you have arrived at these figures.Best Wishes The Team at Ryder & Dutton

Ruth and Stacey have been amazing along with the rental team always updating me and working in my corner as a Landlord.A shout out to accounts who always get back to me with queries I have. No matter who I spoke to within the team, Conor, Jade or Michaela, each of them understood my questions and were able to provide answers within a short timeframe. I was kept informed of progress with my property purchase at all times, so I knew exactly what was happening and could therefore plan accordingly. Maxine was a great help too, spending all day showing me numerous properties that matched my criteria, whilst saving the best until last. And it was well worth the wait, because my offer on that property was accepted the following day. In short, a great customer centric team within the Ryder & Dutton company, and one I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you all.
