We have been carrying out electrical work for Tay Letting over the past year and have been hugely impressed by the professionalism and communication shown by Toni Cochrane and her team, Megan Bentley, Lauren Campbell and Susi Provan. Always give us plenty of information prior to attending any jobs which makes it easier for us. We deal with many lettings agents in Scotland and Tay letting are one of the most efficient. We are delighted to have moved into our flat. We thought the whole process of finding a property and being accepted would have been very stressful but this has not been the case. From the initial viewing with Allan (who was fantastic and really engaging with his clients) to collecting the keys (again with Allan) it was a seemless process carried out over a couple of weeks. A huge ‘thank you’ to Aaron Ord who guided us through the process with regular updates of our application. Aaron has processed all our documentation and has always been available to answer our queries. Totally professional and with good humour Aaron has been fantastic at arranging our new home. So, a big ‘thank you’ to Aaron, Allan and the wider team for all your efforts-they are greatly appreciated.

Absolutely cannot fault the services we got from Tay Letting. As students, the process of trying to find a flat in the past few months has been an extremely stressful one. However, the minute we were in touch with Tay Letting, we have had nothing but constant communication and reassurance from the team. Aaron and his colleagues have been absolutely fantastic, and were always available for a call/email whenever we had any queries. Aaron was able to ensure that our move in dates etc all worked perfectly, and was willing to help us as much as possible when it came to paperwork and other information that was needed. By far the most pleasant and efficient estate agents I’ve ever dealt with. The team at Tay Letting were always approachable, communicated important information clearly, and always responded to queries in a quick turnaround. Update: I just wanted to note that Louise from the Property Management Team has been really fantastic in helping us get a few modifications to help with the flat. As the director of Blue Flame Maintenance our company carry out repairs for Tay Letting in the properties that they manage. We have a good working relationship with the team, Sam, Teigan, Sydney, Lucy, Louise, Megan and Lisa. Someone is always on hand to assist with any queries and they are always very professional. Yasmin in accounts is also someone we work closely with. Yasmin always makes sure our accounts are up to date and is always on hand if there is any questions we need answered. My partner and I moved into a rented property managed by Tay on Thursday. From the initial contact at the viewing the company have been on it. Since then Aaron has been taking care of us and dealing with our application, which the status was constantly communicated to us. The move in process has also been great too. We met with a tay representative and got our keys, there was a couple of things that were still needing done to the flat to be ready, but Michaela and Aaron were again on it apologising and arranging a contractor to attend on that day so that things were still ready for when we were done moving belongings in. The aftercare has also been great from Aaron making sure that the parts of the flat that were fixed were okay. A genuine company with an employee that genuinely cares. Thanks, Garry.

The team at Tay Letting have been absolutely amazing to deal with since my recent tenancy start with them. I needed to move to a new city for work and knew that getting myself a flat may be a bit stressful, not living close in the slightest! When viewing the property, all questions were answered with no issues and the friendly reception definitely helped when it came to making a decision between a few flats in the area. When trying to get all my paperwork sorted in time to allow a prompt move in, I dealt with Cora - she was absolutely lovely and would always call to give any updates from their end / check up on mine. She even went above and beyond to move me in on a Saturday so I was settled before starting work the Monday! Since moving in, my property manager Sam has been fab! Any query or issue I’ve had has been responded to within a couple of hours and sorted within a matter of days. He’s always made sure to check in on anything I’ve flagged. The whole team have gone above and beyond in making sure their tenants feel valued!

I have been dealing with Tay Letting in the process of renting out my flat and can’t fault their customer service at all. I have spoken to more than one of their team and all of them couldn’t be faulted. From Lee coming to the flat for a valuation and to take photos, he was very chatty and eager to help. Teigan was really helpful in answering my queries I had and passing me in the right direction of who was dealing with the property. My partner and I have been living overseas and have decided to return home to Scotland. As imagined it is incredibly stressful trying to relocate your life back to the other side of the world and find a property. Thankfully, we came across a beautiful property let by Tay Letting and were lucky enough to have Aaron support us throughout the process from start to finish. I applied to rent a flat with Tay Letting and after asking us to undertake a credit check and verify our references with Let Alliance, Tay send us an email saying: "I regret to inform you that your tenancy application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. There was considerable interest in the property, and whilst consideration is given to each application, the landlord makes the ultimate decision when granting the tenancy. " We were offered by Let Alliance Sky and Broadband and we paid for both, if the Landlord hadn't chosen us yet why were they letting the company they use to do the background check offer us services for the flat. I asked if something had gone wrong with the background check but I got no reply. I wasted two weeks with this application, I don't think Tay Letting appreciates how important time is for people needing to move and how hard it is for me to work at my current place.NegativeQuality

Snobbish, elitist, and have no spectrum to evaluate prospective tenants, you either fit there ridiculous criteria or you will not be even given the courtesy of a call back, if you question there decision they will say owners have final decision, however owners say letting agents are decisions makers and that’s there job!!!! 1 small word on info from my accountant that backed up all bank income, part time instead off full time!!!
