I couldn't fault any part of the service that Aberdein Considine provide. Matt from the very beginning to the closing date was amazing to deal with. From the first valuation i felt very confident that Matt and AC&co were the right estate agents for me. I also opted to use their in house solicitor (a massive plus for me! i knew that there would be no issues of communication and having to wait for offices to contact each other). The costs were broken down and very clear, they have a very good working relationship with the surveyors and photographers and had my flat on the market in less than a week. Matt contacted me everyday after a viewing to provide feedback and advice. He was always available to contact (even outside of working hours). Jen also contacted me when Matt was with other clients and any requests were dealt with promptly. The agency also carried out viewings on my behalf when i was unable to. It took less than 4 weeks from my first valuation with Matt- to having the home report/photos completed -to putting the flat on the market to then viewings- setting a closing date and having my flat under offer! The service was stress free and very efficient. After such a positive experience we are using them to sell my partners flat and to also purchase our house. I highly recommend Aberdein Considine as an estate agent and id use them again in the future.

Friendly and professional - highly recommended!

Matt, Jennifer and the team were professional, helpful, friendly and kept us calm through a stressful process of selling our property. They provided sound advice and support, and even linked us up with a cleaner and handyman to help us complete a few finishing touches before putting our property on the market - not sure what we would have done without them! We would highly recommend using the team to anyone looking to sell their property.

Don't get angry, take them to the Legal Ombudsman

I was allocated this firm for a remortgage. Luckily I have remortgaged about 30 times and know the ropes, otherwise I am sure I would never have managed to get to completion. Aberdein Considine only emailed me twice throughout the whole process, both times when I had asked them to. They never phoned me. Completion was delayed and all I was asking for was an apology and compensation for the extra interest I'd had to pay by going on to the variable rate - this was under £100. No, they said. I made an official complaint. No, they said. Barely bothered to be civil. I went to the Legal Ombudsman. This service is free for the end user. Aberdein Considine had to pay £400 for the investigation and then spend time and effort on it. The Legal Ombudsman found in my favour and felt I was owed £250. Great! I said. No, Aberdein Considine said. So it went to a higher level at the Ombudsman, who agreed with the first decision. So I got more than I had even asked for, Aberdein Considine had to waste time and energy and possibly had their Public Indemnity Insurance affected, all for refusing to pay me a small sum and apologise. These people don't care about the customer. Don't just write a poor review, take them to the Ombudsman if you feel they've not communicated with you, they've delayed your matter, or if they haven't acted upon your instructions. It's the only way to make them change their systems and their behaviour. They are absolutely shocking. As an aside, the Legal Ombudsman was fantastic. Impartial and thorough.

It’s been three years since Aberdein Considine supported me and my family… For any of you going through what I once was, April and her team here will support you. Very scary experience for me and my son being a dad and his boy. Trust the process, stand by what your believe in… be you! Aberdein Considine was and have been amazing went over an above what was expected, I worked with a lady called April and she supported our family from the very beginning. There is more to the court process for any newbies like me it’s a scary and horrendous experience but April and her team looked after us every step of the way…. A smooth experience selling our flat

Selling our flat has been a smooth experience with Aberdein Considine. We used them to purchase it in 2019 and because of the positive experience then, chose to use them to market our flat. Good Service

The week towards the actual closing date was handled deftly by the team. Morven was attentive and supportive. The selling of the property went less well in that there would be weeks gone by when we didn't hear from anyone. I guess no news is no news but it didn't feel that there was effort being put in, even though I am sure there was.
