Highly recommend Mairi at Aberdein Considine at the Perth branch. The service we received was excellent, and really helped us understand our first property purchase. We would definitely use again in future without hesitation and even have recommended to friends looking for a solicitor. In addition we also used their mortgage broker, Craig was great and communication between solicitor and finance teams was seamless.

I dealt with Chris Grant in arranging my mortgage and protection for my first home. Chris was very informative and quick on hand to settle any questions or concerns I raised. Having a limited timeframe to get arrangements in place was absolutely key and pivotal to securing the property. Both Chris and his administrator Noreen were very helpful and proactive in ensuring everything was achieved within a small timeframe. They were also able to utilise their rapport and relationship with the lender to ensure everything was ready to go with breathing space to spare. I would highly recommend using Chris from AC to anyone looking for a very comprehensive mortgage advisor and painless experience.

Jennifer and the team at AC Byres Rd were fantastic with our recent house sale. Took the time to explain the process in detail and never made to feel anything was a hassle. Stayed in regular contact and kept us up to date throughout the whole process and helped us obtain a great price for our property while always being honest and realistic about the market. Also had very competitive marketing fees.

Matt and his team were excellent. We were kept fully updated on all viewings until the offer came in.Matt was great. He advised us how best to prepare the house for photographer, video and our viewers. We choose to show viewers round ourselves but Matt would have happily done this for us.We had several viewers on the first day of viewing. Matt showed up before they arrived just to make sure everything was in order and double check if we needed any advice on anything. He wished us luck before he left. I felt this was going the extra mile for us. So big well done Matt you couldn’t have done anymore to help. Big thanks to the office staff for keeping us fully updated on viewers.We would definitely recommend you to friends and to anyone reading this review.

I chose Aberdein Considine to to sell my flat as Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable when he first came to view my flat.He provided hints and tips for when the photographer came to take photos and a video which all came out great. I was really pleased with how it looked online for prospective buyers. For each viewing Jennifer and the team kept me informed along the way and also followed up the next day with any feedback. After accepting an offer I chose to stick with AC for conveyancing which was managed by Gavin and his team. They were also great to work with.Everyone at AC were always very helpful and anwsered any questions I had. I would choose to work with them in the future.

I am using Aberdein Considine in Edinburgh to sell my existing property in Edinburgh and buy a new property on the west coast of Scotland. I can't fault the service I have had so far, it has been exemplary. I was rather nervous due to my previous experience with another company but, even though the whole process hasn't been completed yet, I am pretty relaxed about it all now! Particular shout out to Kirsty, Becky, Evelyn and Laraine, all have been really proactive, have kept me up to date on a regular basis and are always happy to have a chat about the best strategy. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in Edinburgh.

My initial meeting was completed by Matt who made me feel comfortable and confident that the sale would be well handled by Aberdein Considine. He went through the full procedure, give tips on how best to organise the flat during viewings and then showed current adverts being run by the company. It was based on this meeting that I chose to go with Aberdein Considine and I'm very pleased I did. After confirming with Matt, he organized my home report, photographs and passed me over to Jennifer and the team for progression of the sale. Jennifer and the team were great throughout the process. They kept me updated on viewings and interest etc, as well as running me through options at each stage. I never had to chase and always felt confident everything was being handled well. In addition, I had the option to complete the viewings myself or Aberdein Considine would - this was a great help due to work commitments. After accepting an offer, I was then passed onto the legal team for conclusion of the sale. They continued as in previous stages - very helpful and very informative of proceedings.Overall, the flat sale went smoothly and I am extremely pleased I used the Aberdein Considine team. I would not hesitate in recommending or using the team again in the future.

GoogleI am very glad I went with Aberdein Considine Byres road to sell my flat. Matt was extremely helpful, gave me plenty of his time, and nothing was too much trouble. Jennifer was highly professional, is an excellent communicator and very much on top of all aspects of the sale, from listing to closing. The photos and video of my little flat were of an excellent standard. I recommend AC and will use them again.

There is many pressures in purchasing a new home and for peace of mind a necessity is a reliable solicitor who can communicate clearly and in a timely manner throughout the process. My experience being you could find none better than Aberdein Considine as I was selling in England with an English solicitor and buying in Scotland with Aberdein Considine who made my Scottish experience a complete pleasure in efficiency and communication in comparison to the other.

Stephen is highly experienced in the field but also caring and mindful of how stressful selling your house can be. Buying and selling can be a daunting process, so when I was recently selling my property in Perth, I contacted Aberdein Considine, in the High Street in Perth. They came highly recommended to me by a colleague, but they surpassed any expectation I had.From the first telephone call, to enquire right through to signing the papers was the most streamlined easy process.I was kept in touch every step of the way, with regular updates, which I could also keep track of online.From the valuation, the viewings, to the close of the sale, everything was done for me, making it a stress free process.I also received fantastically helpful mortgage advice during the process.All this for reasonable sum from which I received NHS discount, which made it all the more affordable.I would highly recommend Aberdien Considine

TrustpilotRe-mortgage via Natwest. No progress after 3 months.
This company was used as conveyancer for a Natwest re-mortgage. I feel both myself and Natwest probably regret that decision with absolutely no progress over 3 months later or any sign this is about to complete. Sadly all elements were in place aside requesting a statement from my current mortgage provider. Despite numerous emails and phone calls, there is never any response back. An email to their complaints also goes with response. There is not phone number for complaints. Their in website chat also has no answer to any question posed. Have now referred to legal ombudsman. *Note that Natwest and TSB have now been removed from their phone contact list!

I have had the misfortune of using ths law firm for a property transaction (their services are offered free by various mortgage institutions). There is a phrase "you get what you pay for...."They missed a settlement date and i am now facing extra costs, let alone the stress. You can't contact them by phone or email as they never answer any of the published contact methods, although to be fair i haven't tried a spiritualist/medium yet or carrier pigeon.Have sent a formal complaint to Robert Fraser who is supposed to be in charge of their property service practice - lets see if he cares enough about his firm that he is a partner in to actually fix a very broken system.If your lender offers their services don't take them up on it - its a life of pain, stress and worry.

Omg this same experience, missed the remortgage date, had to pay more. That’s what happened to us, they are the most incompetent company I have ever had the misfortune to work with. Hours of my life that I won’t get back, hanging on the phone for hours waiting to speak to someone to eventually been put through to an answer machine. Leave a message we will get back to you, did they, no. Emails did they get back no. The outcome of this is they paid us back some interest that had occurred due to their competence. We were still out of pocket. Which I tried to explain to whoever picked up my emails ????? Could of been anyone of the few staff they employ.That was a response I had of one of them , they had 50 people in the queue behind me ??? . Sorry don’t take on the work if you can’t deliver. Your customer service is the worst I’ve every experience. I would not recommend you to anyone or use you again. Customers go else where if you don’t want to be out of pocket.

Chose Aberdein Considine to sell our house as we have used them in the past with great success. Dealt with Caitlin and Gemma who were efficient in any questions I had asked and good at explaining the process involved. They kept me fully up-to-date with everything and made the process less stressful resulting in a very quick sale. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell/purchase their house.

1 star is too many! I could copy and paste these negative reviews as my experience has been exactly the same. Impossible to contact I have been trying for weeks. There has been no response to questions over email, and no return phone calls after leaving messages for team leaders. ( 30 mins of a phone ringing just to be able to leave a message, and still no response to it 5 days later). Just a complete disgrace. Stay well clear if you expect any kind of customer service. They refuse to communicate, whilst their customers are incuring increased monthly payments, due to their delays. I have been trying to contact them for weeks with no success. Just disgusting behaviour from any kind of business let alone one you are trusting with your finances.
