After trying a few estate agents and not feeling enough enthusiasm from them, I tried Countrywide who I’d originally bought the property from in 2018. I explained to them that I had an unusual loft-style duplex to sell and I wanted a young, modern and keen team to sell it for me. Chris and Kieran jumped at the opportunity and we became friends in the process. I needed a fast timeline and they stayed completely organised, but light hearted along the way. Where other estate agents saw an unusual layout and difficult living arrangements, they saw character and wow-factor. Countywide Candleriggs really are the A-team.

Very disappointing experience with Countrywide Glasgow. I booked a viewing a week in advance, did not pursue other properties, and the appointment was reconfirmed on the same day. I took time off work and travelled a long distance to view the property, only to be told on arrival that the property had already been let. When I called, I was simply told, “Sorry,” but what about my time waste, travel costs and inconvenience? Unfortunately, I would never use Countrywide again and would not recommend them.

I am a landlord and have been delighted with the service provided by Countrywide Lettings. This weekend, thanks to Countrywide, we were able to complete the move in about two weeks from the viewing. We came to University of Strathclyde from Tokyo for a year on my husband's sabbatical. We were looking for a comfortable flat. Ami, who was in charge of us who had difficulty speaking English,She was so very kind, generous, and so quick to respond,which we really appreciate. She was very helpful in responding meticulously to those of us who were unfamiliar with the British tenant rules and living environment. On the day of the move, we were at a loss because we didn't know how to use the hot water system, but after talking to Ami, she dispatched a viewing agent the next day! (we would also like to thank Suraen, who was in charge of the viewing agent, who listened to us kindly from the viewing.) We have somehow settled down on the foundations of our lives, and my husband is finally able to concentrate on his research. We would definitely recommend Countrywide to our next professor. I've only been in a few times, the girls were always helpful and very polite. I rented with countrywide for 13 months and everything was great, I had a troublesome landlord and countrywide made everything as smooth as possible. I had boiler problems and repairs were easy to report. I recently bought a flat in Merchant City through Countrywide and they were amazing! I was a first-time buyer and countrywide was with me every step of the way. There was a whole load of complications when buying the flat around due to the council and the vendor but Countrywide was always there on the phone keeping me in the loop as well as reassuring me all was going to be okay during that stressful time!
