Been a customer of Cairn for around 15 years. Living in a flat, I've always been impressed at their maintenance of the whole building and their quick response to any issues that arise. You establish a good relationship with your property inspector (in my case Zoe Simpson) and can be assured that when asked, "Is everything all right?", it is a genuine question in the interest of both resident and property. The relationship with Cairn is reassuringly positive.

Beginning Good, everything went smooth till moment when I realize heating do not work properly. In the flat temperature low to the point steam coming from my mouth. They send electricisns, ignorant, Comments made nobody normal have higher temperature in their house more than 21 degrees Celsius. Installed 2 extra heater, did not asked where I would like them, bathroom totally useless £36 fan, bedroom electric heater making so much noise it is impossible to sleep. Report to them, visit from agent Wilma, shouting I'm pathetic, not normal as nobody normal can afford to put heating on at night. Passed that to Glasgow branch manager two weeks ago. Nothing change since the apart from msg I should make sure the "ON" button is on. Otherwise heating will not work. Looks like they have lack of respect to people from other countries as I'm Polish, I live in Scotland 20 years, it's my home but never been treated that way since I'm here. Avoid dealing with this people. Not nice at all.

If you a black plz don’t bother and don’t a Viewing The experience was terrible, the guy that was there for the viewing was so cold towards us. It was so obvious that he didn’t like our kind cause my husband tried speaking to him, he refused to look up from the paper he was looking at and murmured an okay. My husband opened the French window in the living room and he told him that he is not supposed to open any doors without asking . What’s the point of going for a viewing if we can’t look at things properly. It’s disappointing to say the least.

I would highly recommend Cairn (Glasgow) to anyone in need of a Letting agency. While researching which agency to sign with (by walking into various agencies to chat/sound them out and by speaking to students to determine their preference) I walked into Cairn. From my first meeting with Heather (HMO specialist) I was very keen to work with Cairn. I was passed onto Sophie, subsequently met with herself and Fiona, signed up and I'm very glad I did. All 3 representatives were highly professional, efficient and friendly. The marketing/letting of my property was expertly handled by Sophie - the attention to detail was excellent - and at all stages I felt I was in safe hands. As a non-local landlord, it is important to know that my property letting is in safe hands, and I'm confident that it is. All 3 are an asset to Cairn and deserve high praise.
