Isla recently managed a house purchase in Furzedown for my husband and I and provided an excellent service! Over a 6 month period she showed us around several houses, during which time she took our preferences and budget seriously and gave us useful advice about the area. When we found our current house she managed the offer and purchase process efficiently and made herself available to answer our queries throughout. I picked Aspire Furzedown out of a few different estate agents to become the solo estate agent to facilitate the recent sale of my late mother’s home. It was a 5* service all the way. It was a pleasure to deal with Chris whom I met initially and he basically explained what they could offer me as my chosen estate agent. Then Isla and Alison whom both dealt with the viewings, some of the logistics and later the finer details of the sale. They were all very sensitive to the situation after the loss of my mother and making the difficult decision to part with our family home. They found a lovely family to purchase the property and they made me feel totally relaxed and supported at every turn. We started viewings for our first home at the beginning of April knowing nothing about the process and how long it could take from beginning up to get the keys. After couple of viewing without succes we met Alison who showed us our house to be on the 10th of April, very lovely and friendly lady who made everything feel super easy and less stressful then what we though would be. After couple of weeks we also met Christopher who was very supportive and helpful to sort things between solicitors and make sure that the sell/buy of the house it’s gone happen and in record time we moved in on the 20th of June. In such of stressful proces for some people this amazing Aspire team was so calm and always very prompt to our emails and questions. We would recommend them to every single person around us who is looking to buy a house. Unfortunately a complete disaster from start to finish. So many things went wrong in this process ( we bought a property with them ) that it is difficult to list them all. We were promised things that apparently could not happen ( and they knew already but made us think could be done to speed up the sale) as well as lied on multiple occasions when, after the exchange we asked to visit the property again for some last checks. As said the list could go on and on however as cherry on top of the cake, after a lot of stress as we were in chain and there were delays, they refused to come and give as the key when it was time so we had to go there to collect .We bought and rented before however this was an incredible unpleasant transaction especially compared with the agency we used to sell our property. When the time will come for a sale we will know where not to go.
