The service we recieved was incredible, Chloe was absolutely amazing, constantly on the ball, moved things along quickly and was an amazing help with anything we needed, I would highly recommend Boydens!

When I approached Boydens my late mother's flat had been on the market for over 3 years in spite of trying another local agent, online auctions and other properties purchasing organisations so I was beginning to give up hope. They were very welcoming and easy to deal with and advised the price I'd arrived at was reasonable and that they had someone who might be interested. They face sensible advice on the market and when they did secure the sale soon afterwards kept me regularly up to date with emails and chased up solicitors/purchaser so I didn't need to contact them. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful.

Extremely professional set up, very friendly and knowledgeable of local market and everything involved. A completely smooth experience from first meeting Matthew the manager and the way his team helped us through the highs and lows of house sales. Special appreciation to Gemma who takes on the sale progression and she is very responsive and guided us through, despite the obstacles thrown up along the way. If you want a house sell/buy then you cannot go wrong if you use Boydens at Frinton. Highly recommended.

Very much appreciate how Boydens support the local community. For many years now Beth from this branch and David and Paul from the Colchester branch have provided posters and cards for our summer lunchtime concerts at St. Mary's Parish Church. We have managed to raise with their help £1700 for the church and Alzheimers. So grateful for Boydens' help and commitment to this venture.

Another excellent experience had with Boydens. Having used them a few years ago to buy our beach hut and been impressed with them we didn't hesitate to use them again as we came to sell. Amy again was our point of contact and couldn't have been more helpful and professional. She kept us up to date with progress and dealt with our concerns (not caused by Boydens) promptly and calmly. Very helpful in my search for a new rental, managed to fit my viewing in late to which then I actually received the news I was successful for the property. Good information when it comes to council tax bands, electric rating etc so at least you're not hit with a load of I don't knows to your questions about the property. Professional and well presented, I think the ladies name was Hayley, she was just returning from maternity leave so very understanding of my situation being a working mum and trying to find the ideal home. Also I've spoken to Beth during the process too, thanks for being NH so helpful ladies! 🎉 Just a more personal experience I feel tofinding a property. Thank you 🩷

I would put minus if it was at all possible. As a Maintenance company they are a total rip off. They jump fees up £100 at a time, do very little work just top up the kitty. I have been under a maintenance company for a freehold property before so know how they should run. A year ago when we move here we were told the fees would be £200 which quickly went to £240 and 14 months later £511.83. We are told this is just for 55% so as pensioners we will be bankrupt.

The increase in service charge followed a review of sites in which it was felt that the site had been under-budgeted for a considerable period of time meaning that the site would not be maintained to the required standard, hence the increase required.
