GoogleI highly recommend the Square Room after they helped us with the sale of our bungalow in Staining. We had been on the market for over a year with another local estate agent and thought we would never be able to sell but we received a cash asking price offer within a couple of weeks of being listed with The Square Room. I don’t know whether it was the stars aligning or they are just good at their job but whatever they did worked. Communication was great, from Paul coming to do the valuation, to getting in touch with other members of the team whenever we needed anything.

GoogleChose the Square Room when selling my house as their Terms & Conditions were clearer to read than other agents, and their fees more reasonable. Thanks to regular updates on the progress of the sale and someone always available to deal with any queries I had, the whole process turned out to be much more straightforward than I had anticipated. Will definitely use them if selling in the future.

GoogleDealing with the Square Room during our house sale was a very positive experience. Our particular house sale was a bit of a roller coaster, but the support and advice from Alex and Sophie kept us 'sane', they were very professional. Sophie was so pleasant and always returned calls when asked. I would certainly recommend the Square Room.

GoogleWas lied to when went to visit a property, told noone else interested and yet following day they had already had application forms in and we did not meet criteria even though we were told we had good change of being accepted.. Drove a fair while when the virus was pretty high to risk it for the sake of the family and getting a new home. Very poor, would not recommend to sellers or potential letters. Look for the bigger company.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. When you booked in the rental viewing for Beach Lodge on the 2nd June 2020, there were no other viewings booked in. By the time you submitted your application to the office, three other families had also requested and viewed the property on the 5th June 2020, and also submitted applications. We put your application forward to the landlord and the landlord declined your application. It is the landlord's decision which application they wish to process. The landlord has decided to sell the property. We hope you find suitable accomodation soon. The Square Room

GoogleWe found what was, at the time, the home of our dreams - we were the first to view it and immediately placed an offer for the asking price (even before we drove away from the driveway) only to be told we had to wait for others whom were viewing on that day to make offers; leaving us completely demoralised... We had sold our home a month prior and had viewed many up to that point... when we were outbid we increased ours by 10K to then be told we should write an email with reasons why we should be chosen (as if offering 10K more than asking price wasn't enough?!?) As we loved it so much we went ahead but only to eventually be outbid by £500.00 without having an opportunity to offer more... that said, should people have to do this when they offered what was asked? They might as well have put the home on ebay (this isn't scotland either where the process is different!) an asking price is an asking price (the adverts didn't say offers above!) If you go and buy a car (even a used one) and offer the price they ask for you'd be able to buy it - no questions... the dealership wouldn't say "mmm, nah... we'll hold off to see who else offers today" so how is this different... You may say that others had appointments on that day but again, you would sell and disappoint those whom weren't quick enough; surely... (not to mention those who offer more!) As it is, we found a bigger/better home in the exact same area for 30K less and moved into it a month ago... but people shouldn't have their emotions messed with like this - our advice: if you place an offer for the asking price or similar try not to get too excited nor emotionally involved as you may find yourself in the same situation... evidently you doing exactly what is asked of you isn't good enough.

Dear Jodie, You viewed the property on the 13th August 2019 at 10:15am. There was also a viewing at 10:30am and another viewing at 10:45am on the same day, so obviously we could not cancel these viewings. You did make an offer of £210,000 which we put forward to the vendor, however other viewings were already taking place. The two other viewers, which viewed straight after yourself also made offers on the same day and all offers were put forward to the vendor. We informed all three parties who offered that the vendor had instructed us to ask for "best and final offers" by the end of the working day on the 14th August 2019. You submitted your best and final offer of £220,000 which was not accepepted by the vendor because they had received a higher offer from a cash buyer. We gave yourself and the two other viewers a fair opportunity to put their best offer forward and we have to go off our clients instructions as to which offer they would like to accept. We would never ask you to write an email as to why your offer should be accepted. This has never been a requirement on any offer we have received. However, my colleague Alex did put your email forward to the vendor as requested by yourself. I am sorry you feel dissapointed but firstly, we could not cancel viewings when they were straight after your viewing and without my clients instruction. All offers were put forward to the vendor and the property was sold to the highest bidder. It is the vendor's decision which offer to accept. Regards Paul Bayliss (Director)

GoogleThe service I received from The Square Room was excellent, they could not do enough for me. Paul who came round to view my property was so helpful, explaining the process step by step, he kept in touch through the whole selling process, absolutely amazing. Susan who was dealing with myself was absolutely fantastic, the communication was amazing. I would highly recommend square room if you wish to sell/rent a property, there prices are so reasonable and they do so much for you. They take the worry away from you when selling a property, I can not thank them enough. A very happy customer.
