GooglePaul and Julie at Check4Houses were really great to work with. They were the agents of the house we were due to purchase, and I have they say, they're not like other agents. No BS, super helpful and really honest. I found them more helpful than my selling agent who I was paying. I'd definitely use them to sell my home I was planning to.

Thank you for reaching out to Check 4 Houses, all feedback is appreciated and duly noted. We are of course extremely disappointed to hear that, in your opinion we didn’t serve you well. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to respond back to your comments within this forum with a detailed outline of the steps we took to help you (and your subsequent ex husband) to sell your jointly owned home; Step 1: Check 4 Houses first valued your home in Feb ‘16 and obtained your first offer in May ‘16. The house sale completed in May‘19 due entirely to your divorce proceedings. Step 2: In selling your home for the final time, and saving yourselves in the region of £5,700 in agents fee we also achieved 97% of the asking price in a very short period of time, in what is and remains a falling market. In addition there had been little to/no upkeep on your home during the above period. Step 3: Check 4 Houses secured buyers, who were extremely patient, flexible and due to having no time constraints their end, agreed from the beginning they would wait accordingly and did so purely to your timings. Step 4: Check 4 Houses at every stage were always very aware of the sensitive nature of your house sale. Throughout your divorce proceedings and obtaining the court order, we strived to ensure such sensitivity, ensuring in the background that we provided updates of the market conditions and the marketing of your home accordingly, as is our job to do. Step 5: Check 4 Houses when receiving instructions from every homeowner will always seek to update all parties (homeowners) involved. With this in mind & to respond to your last comment ref; ‘contacting your husband’ Of course it's not something which our Team sought to do maliciously, we simply had to keep all parties informed as you can expect we would need to do, in order to do our job properly and completely. We simply have a responsibility towards all parties in communicating every step. Of course if only one person owned the home, then we would ensure we would only communicate with the one individual - the owner. However, in this particular case that you refer to, both you and your husband owned the house you had asked Check 4 Houses to market and sell accordingly. Step 6: Check 4 Houses always aims to provide the highest level of service and in order to achieve fluid communications with solicitors/buyers and sellers involved in such a process, we have a responsibility to ensure the conveyancing of every house sale is totally fulfilled. Regrettably, we were on your instruction not able to fully complete this as communications from your solicitor pertaining to your on-going purchase were closed down and blocked by you. From this point, it became extremely difficult for Check 4 Houses to ensure responsibility in this area. This also meant that we were not able to update your buyers accordingly or in turn (your now ex) husband. Which leads us to maintain that your feedback and comments are unsubstantiated, as we did not have access to the vital house purchase information that we required, and that we ask of anyone we receive instructions from. To conclude it's with some dismay that we find ourselves responding to this review, as we continually strive to provide the utmost respect in dealing with our clients, and ensuring we provide an honest and reliable service, which we can be proud of.
