GoogleI have just moved home with Check4Houses - they were absolutely amazing. Honest, knowledgable and utterly reliable. Paul Hemmings dealt with my sale with incredible tenacity, given that my poor buyer had chosen a well known agent who proved to be lazy and totally ineffective. Paul worked all hours it seemed when the other agents were long gone. Paul took on everything and really unfortunately due to the inept abilities of the other agent involved had to manage the whole chain by constantly chasing for updates, staying on top of things when it mattered and keeping in constant communication. I couldn't of asked for better service. From the beginning Paul not only was honest and direct about the valuation of my house and discussed this with sincerity and great knowledge, but he gave great advice and really helped me understand every step. Everything I asked of him he did - and more! All this great service you would expect this to come at a high price, however on the contrary Check4Houses actually saved me a whopping £4,000 compared with other perhaps more traditional agents. Google2nd time using Check4Houses and just the same as the first time, cannot fault anything with the service, price or quality. Every part of the process, from the initial meeting to take photos to the final deposit of our keys and everything else inbetween was painless, prompt and above all effortless. The best thing with Check4Houses is their open and honest approach to the costs - exceptional value and much much cheaper than your average highstreet estate agent - much friendlier too! GoogleSelling a house in a pandemic wasn't how I thought I'd start this year - but I know that I made the right choice in using Paul and the Check4Houses team. They have been brilliant throughout and their amazing local reputation is thoroughly justified. Even though they were slammed after the Stamp duty holiday was announced, they always made time and were patient and responsive for me. Paul's knowledge is apparent and he is patient and reassuring with even the most worried of seller - his team he work with are excellent and very friendly too. GoogleWe bought through Check 4 Houses. It took us several weeks to find the right property, so we viewed a number of them in the mean time and so experienced most of the local estate agents. Check 4 Houses were one of the better ones - their listings had good info and photos, they were easy to get hold of, etc. Some of their viewings were done by the sellers and others by Check 4 Houses, so I don't know what the norm is for them - but when Paul showed us round, we were impressed by his knowledge of both the property and the area. Once we had a sale agreed, we were in the middle of a chain. We actually got much better service from Check 4 Houses than the estate agent we were actually paying! Beth regularly phoned the agents up and down the chain to find out what was going on and then called us with an update. Through this, we found out things our own estate agent didn't know (or, on one occasion, had tried to conceal from us!) And when the transactions finally concluded, our own estate agent never even bothered to congratulate us; whereas Check 4 Houses thanks us for our business and gave us a little box of home moving essentials (a nice touch!)

They stand out from other estate agents because they are actually lovely human beings who are more interested in giving you an affordable service rather than trying to fleece you for all you're worth. GoogleMy experience of Check 4 Houses has been that they are honest, straightforward and helpful. They helped us obtain a sale in a pretty short period of time at a price we were happy with. They have stayed on top of everything to get exchange done in the time frame that was needed. And aside from all of the above the 0.5% commission is a massive difference in cost compared to other estate agents and that compared with the level of service is great value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

GoogleWe came across Check for Houses as they were selling a house we went to view. We paid upfront and our house sold soon afterwards, however it took us nearly a year to find our perfect home, during this time Paul and Julie could not have been more patient and were so helpful with their invaluable expertise ad advice, always putting us first (not themselves) which was a breath of fresh air compared to other estate agents. When we found our house, the vendors also decided to use Check for Houses making the whole process very smooth. I would not hesitate to recommend Check for Houses, as they provide an outstanding service.

GoogleWe discovered Check4Houses after viewing a property before selling our own. We hugely valued Paul's experience of the area and honesty (a rarity I can tell you compared to some of the other independent high street agents in Fleet). We marketed our property through Check4Houses and as well as Paul securing the best possible price, he was on hand throughout the frustrating completion process, dealing with other agents in the chain as well as solicitors. I suspect the 1 star rating above is a jealous competitor... Check4Houses promote their properties (as they did ours) on all main websites, and as the majority of viewings are secured this way, I suspect this is just nonsense. I will use Paul again, and have no hesitation in recommending him here. The savings he makes not having a high street location is passed on to his customers. I can't remember the last time I 'went' to an agent - apart from to collect house keys. Keep up the good ethical work!

GoogleI saw the sale advice during my commuting to work and I could not believe it that they apply 0.5% only when the other estate agents charged 3 to 6 times higher rate.... I called them without high expectation but I changed my opinion as soon as i've met Paul. I immediately thought he was very professional and with high experience. He sold my flat in 1 week after 1 view only at the top price! i save around £4400 in fee compared with my neighbor that went to other estate agent!!!!
