I would definitely recommend Vickery. Sadly I recently had a family bereavement and needed to sell a family home. At this difficult and emotional time I found Vickery to have the perfect combination of respect & empathy for the situation (waiting until I was ready), while being super efficient from the moment I said “let’s go”. They offered knowledgeable advice throughout the process, from the probate valuation to completion, that helped guide me to make the right decisions, and they navigated the inevitable set backs when the sale fell through twice (not through fault of Vickery) with ease and efficiency, meaning the sale still completed in good time. Sarah was lovely - warm, genuine and we honestly believed she wanted our little family to get the house. Sarah’s weekly updates, even when there was no news, were hugely appreciated. Sale went through to our timescales and we now have a beautiful home, all thanks to the care and diligence of Sarah. Isaac (the boss I believe) was completely unprofessional when we made the offer. Didn’t get back to us for days and then told us that a higher offer had been accepted. He said he’d put an improved offer to the seller which we, through desperation, agreed to... don’t deal with him!

Edward met us for the valuation and he was friendly, professional and not pushy and had all the information and comparisons. I was listened to regarding the price I wanted. The house was sold within a week and I didn’t feel pressured in to taking a price I didn’t want to. I like the weekly update regarding the progress of the sale and found Lewis very helpful and always happy to answer my queries. I used the solicitors within Vickery and I feel this helped the progress and speed of the sale. I would recommend.

A very disappointing experience which began with an over-valuation but despite mentioning this several times, they chose to stand by their valuation which never produced a single, second viewing much less an offer even when we agreed to accept OIEO 50k lower than the valuation! We had 53 viewings booked but only 29 turned up! Contract length is longer than most local Agents. We managed to negotiate 16 weeks (their standard contract length is 20 weeks) and were disappointed to be told that we were unable to serve 4 weeks’ notice (again on the long side) until the Contract had expired thus effectively making it a 20 week period before we were able to re-market. Will definitely not be using Vickery in the future nor will I be recommending family and friends. Sellers beware!
