My partner and I have had a great experience finding a flat with Martin & Co. Falmouth. Liam Jefferies has been in our corner for the entire process. He's made an effort to be transparent and down to earth while maintaining a professional awareness of our needs as prospective tenants and has been so on it with any queries we've had. Our interactions with other members of the office like Ruby who we've dealt with over the phone, have also been positive. Goes to show how much less stressful these things can be with a human touch. From initial contact with this agency I found their communication timely, helpful and friendly. We contacted them re a property we had seen online but the viewings were full and happening that same day. We signed up for a viewing cancellation and the agent offered us a cancellation as soon as one presented. Unfortunately due to this all happening within a few hours we were unable to leave work to attend. The agent was very helpful in offering us a virtual viewing as an alternative and were very helpful in answering additional questions re the property. As we are new to the process the agent was also very helpful and clear about explaining the rental and application process. Although we are not making an offer on this property I am hoping to continue to deal with this agency to extend our search. The process of finding a home can be stressful and Martin and co have proved to be a responsive, helpful, personable and understanding agent

Martin & Co Falmouth letting team is fantastic. They assisted us in making a move to Cornwall and went the extra mile to help given we lived in a different part of the country. Liam and Ruby deserve a particular mention. They made the process of letting a new home very easy. They were so helpful, explained the process and were there every step of the way to guide us through. Whenever we had a query, they were very responsive, supportive and friendly. It was also very clear that they look after and protect their landlords’ interests by making sure the property would be a good fit for the tenant and landlord. We are very grateful to the letting team for their help and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Martin and Co are mind blowing, after we lost my aunty we were left in a pickle, with understanding the let's that Martins managed for my aunt. They have all been so incredibly patience and spent so much time with helping us understand all the hurdles we are jumping with probate, house lettings and house sales. I feel so blessed my aunt had this company in charge of her properties. Everyone is amazing but I must give a big shout of to Gary and Rachel that have been my back bone through all of this. Highly recommend Martins they are a pleasure deal with and make life so much easier with there knowledge and understanding of all aspects to do with property.

As previous tenants of a house managed by Martin & Co, we can't fault the service we received at all. Whenever we encountered any issues, the team were more than happy to help, and were very prompt at sending out contractors when needed. Kirsty is the person who has dealt with me throughout and has shown such skill and tenacity in a difficult selling climate. I would not hesitate to use this estate agent again and would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Kirsty for the successful application of her exceptional abilities. 21st February 2025: I am adding to my earlier review as Google will not me write a new and separate one. Martin & Co have been managing our properties in West Cornwall for about 10 years now, having had three different agencies handle our portfolio in the previous ten years. Without a hesitation we can say that the service we are given on all fronts has been exceptional, of the very highest professional standard. Recently Hannah Maxfield has dealt with some pressing property issues, including tenancy renewals, with great skill, whilst Susan Robins is our daily contact and again is effective, professional and can often anticipate a problem and sort it before a tenant has any need to be concerned. I have also used M&Co to sell properties, see first review above, which again had been a process we were dreading but had our worries assuaged and solid and swift sales achieved. A first rate outfit to have a business relationship with.

These agents are to avoid at all cost! The worst possible service ever. We dealt with James and Felicia back in 2020 and rented our property through them on their premium service as we were abroad, they didn’t manage anything as they should have and put tenants on benefits which they fully knew was the case without making us aware and then there was a water leak in the loft water container which the tenants made them aware off and they took over a mont to act on it which resulted in the ceiling collapsing and the house being completely covered in mould everywhere. They refused to take responsibility for this and we were greeted back to our poor house completely destroyed by mould and damp as well as the tenants dogs which urinated everywhere indoors. Stay well clear of these agents if you don’t want to be messed around while paying them fortunes. Team was extremely rude and just didn’t care whatsoever and tried to lie to cover their mistakes. James shouldn’t have a job in customer relations but clearly only as selling corrupted insurances to poor souls.

Ruby has been an absolute star from start to finish with helping us find a new rental. My husband and I were relocating counties and had to do viewings remotely.
