GoogleFalkirk Homes did not market our house to it's full potential, did not let us proof read before going live with numerous mistakes on schedule and missing key information. Our experience was they market properties with incorrect Council tax bands so please do your own checks. They even allow Home Reports on their schedule with incorrect information when the onus should be on them to carry out their own checks as they are marketing the property! Told us completion certificates would be issued in a few weeks with no problems when in fact it was 6 months!!! Yes, that is out of Falkirk Homes' control but they were so blasé about it being done promptly when they should have checked these things were in place before marketing the property. Horrendous communication, left us stressed throughout the whole buying process. Couldn't talk to either Amanda or Tareena without being talked over or them picking up on something we said and taking it as an instruction when really we were just looking for advice. Every hurdle we came up against was just "nothing to do with them"! Will never use them again or recommend ☹️

Completely false and inaccurate information in reviews are extremely damaging to a small local company and can have a financial knock on effect to the individuals concerned and their families. We received this review recently from Mrs Baird which was full of false information and inaccuracies. For context we sold Mrs Baird a house and we also sold her house. It transpired the house Mrs Baird purchased required a building warrant for some remodelling work which was not disclosed to us by the owner. This ultimately was the root cause of this unfortunate situation. Had we known a building warrant was required we would never have marketed the property until warrants were in place. However Mrs Baird purchased the property and it became apparent that a building warrant had to be issued by Falkirk Council to enable the completion of the sale. By your own admission this was out of our control. We have no bearing on how long Falkirk Council take to issue these warrants. Therefore how can we receive negativity for a 6 month delay and the poor communication from Falkirk Council and Solicitors? We take full responsibility for all of our failures that we have control over. As a company we take on board that your property description should have been better and communicated to you the client for your input. We will learn from this. (Mrs Bairds house was marketed on August 28th last year and was promptly sold 5 days later) In regards to us knowingly communicating incorrect Council Tax bands and presenting wrong information on Home Reports on our schedules, this is COMPLETELY FALSE. A qualified independent surveyor carries out the Home Report Survey and information is provided to them from the owner via the property questionnaire. We have no input. The surveyors secretary produce a draft report and it is then proof read by the owner. The Final Home Report is issued and we present that information. We have no input to this process and cannot and will not be held responsible for inaccurate information within what is a legal document. We live in a world of on-line reviews on Social media which on the whole can be beneficial to a potential new client and constructive to a company looking to improve. For you to publicly and personally name 2 of my colleagues on this platform is completely unacceptable and below the belt. You could have just said Falkirk Homes. Amanda and Tareena work tirelessly to facilitate efficient house sales every time and we have hundreds of satisfied past clients who happily recommend us via word of mouth. They have gone above and beyond on dozens of occasions to help a client as it’s just in their nature. Our past reviews will show this. You mention in your review that they were “so blasé” when you were calling for information. You were hounding our office with calls. We had no information to give you as the situation was, as you mentioned out of our control. These calls should have been to your solicitor. We won’t go into your manner on calls. Via your review you have held Falkirk Homes responsible for this unfortunate situation. The facts are the owner didn’t have their completion certificate in place and failed to inform us. There was inaccuracies with the Home Report, again via the owner. There was delays with Falkirk Council and ultimately poor communication between both sets of Solicitors. My question is have you also written to the owner of the house you purchased to express your feelings? Have you left a negative review on the Surveyors Facebook and Google? Have you left a negative review on Falkirk Councils Facebook for poor communication and have you also left a severely negative review on both Solicitors involved on their Facebook and Google? Before writing false, vicious and potentially harmful reviews may I simply ask that you and anyone reading this to get some basic facts correct. On your Facebook page your mantra says “Everyone has their own battle. Be kind always ❤️ “ how ironic

Excellent experience from start to finish and the fees are the most reasonable around. The process could not have been any more simple or straightforward with zero stress. A credit to the industry. This is not false or inaccurate, the bottom line is you should not have put the property on the market without doing basic checks. You made sure all the necessary indepth checks were done on us to verify we had the funds to buy the property so why wouldn’t you do the same on a property you were selling??? We sold our house for a very low price because we had no other offers, we couldn't even get feedback from other viewers because they "just didn’t return calls" we were being pushed for an entry date of October so we panicked. With missing information from our schedule and no feedback from buyers we had no choice but to accept the offer! I "hounded your office with calls"? Really? Perhaps you could show me the call log as it was barely any. My solicitor couldn't get any information from the other solicitor and we were completely in the dark, ofcourse we were going to try and get some information from Falkirk Homes! After all, you had a relationship with your client and knew more about the chain than we did. You didn't want to talk about my manner on these phonecalls, is that because there wasn't any manner. I remain professional and courteous at all times, however stressful a situation is. Believe me, you've no idea how stressful the last 6 months has been. This review is not false or vicious, it is my honest review of how I found my experience with your Company. I'm pretty sure with 13k followers my review will make zero difference to your future sales. For you to take information from my personal Facebook page and then actually single me out on a post on your Facebook page (as previously stated with 13k followers) is below the belt and just shows again how unprofessional your Company is.

Google08/12/2023 - Unfortunately we suffered a former Purple Bricks agent working at Falkirk Homes, who also used to work for Just Eat ... - That says it all really. Customer service is exactly the same as Purple Bricks - very poor. Terribly unprofessional photos - taken on a mobile phone, all dark, and blurry spots as they don't know how to phase out areas of images or how to properly lighten images without deterioration in quality. I could have taken better photos myself - seriously. Poor communication and manipulative attitude into the bargain. Constantly got rudely spoken over the top of, frequently. Our property was removed from the market after we declined one single viewer due to a sudden change of circumstances. They will also try and force you into accepting viewers who are not even advertising their homes on the market themselves, completely wasting your time. Details of viewers surnames are even hidden, yet viewers have your full name and address. Purple Bricks failed for a reason and Falkirk Homes are no better. Cheap price to market means cheap rubbish unfortunately. No terms and conditions provided either, as requested. I should also mention that you should NOT expect a sales advertising board to be mounted outside your home. We didn't receive one at all ... We do NOT recommend Falkirk Homes. Secure a 'genuinely professional' estates agent. Falkirk Homes are sadly one for the Property Ombudsman to investigate unfortunately, if you suffer the same rudeness, unprofessionalism and manipulation that we suffered ... Steer well clear. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Just Eat is one of businesses greatest ever success stories so we’ll take it as a compliment that you have identified that a member of our team previously had an executive role with them. You are implying that they were on a moped delivering pizzas which shows your total ignorance which we had to unfortunately experience throughout this house sale. You are clearly not versed in GDPR The General Data Protection Regulation. We cannot give personal data of viewers to you in case you were to troll them if something negative was said by them. In this case it’s good we stick by this guideline as you are prime candidates for trolling. We could go into your review more but you knew best and would completely disregard any experience we have of successful sales. You did receive a sale board and yes we did offer you a potential buyer that hadn’t sold their property yet. It’s very common for people to look to buy before they have sold.

They were both in contact on a regular basis and arranged everything for us so quickly, both the home report & each of the viewings! This has been the second time we’ve used them and both properties had offers in within ten days (the first property didn’t even make it on the market thanks to John’s waiting list of buyers!). GoogleMy husband and I recently sold our house with Falkirk Homes. John was helpful and professional throughout, amazing photography and quickly got our house on the market! We sold our house within 12 hours and John was at the other side of the phone to answer any questions and give advice when needed! You will not find a harder working estate agent who is available at weekends and evenings like John and Amanda there is no waiting the typical Mon-Fri hours for them! Great service at an amazing price!

Since they sold my house in ONE DAY I have dealt with other companies when trying to buy a new property and I can’t believe the amount of phone calls they miss and don’t return, the emails they ignore and they viewings they don’t bother about I cannot say any of this about John and Amanda... they were so efficient from day one! John took amazing photographs of the house and the advertising they use on social media is great! Amanda did so well organising the numerous viewings and keeping me up to date throughout the whole process And they don’t forget about you when you’ve sold your property either, we are still in touch about new potential properties for me! GoogleWe were recommended Falkirk Homes by a work colleague and decided to give it a try. From Day 1, John was so attentitive and helpful with the whole process from start to finish. Within a couple of days, he had his photographer to our property to take pictures, which were absolutely amazing and certainly helped sell the property via RightMove.... WITHIN 6 DAYS!!! I love the fact John at Falkirk Homes conducts most of his business via WhatsApp, this makes the whole process so much easier and accessible. When it came to dealing with offers, John was very professional and kept us in the loop at all times. I cannot recommend him enough and will be telling everyone I know who is thinking of selling, to go with Falkirk Homes. Absolutely First Class Service with a price that is unbeatable. FacebookFalkirk Homes have been everything that I could have hoped for in an estate agent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommended them to anyone in the future.The whole process was seamless and John was on hand every step of the way, emailing and calling with developments within minutes of them happening, offering advise should I require it and dealing with all parties with the highest degree of professionalism.The whole process was turned around faster than I could have imagined with photography and state of the art videography taking place within two days of my initial call, to my flat being on the market and sold within an extraordinary 3 hours from going live on right move. Not only that, the pricing structure of falkirk homes is completely transparent and affordable, but the affordability does not at all take away from the quality of the service from start to finish!

GoogleUnfortunately, as a buyer we had a terrible experience trying to organise a viewing. Phones calls were very disorganised, the person who answered was rude and was often doing something and not listening. We were asked to convey via email but we were also told that they do not arrange viewings by email. Ultimately we would have been ready to put an offer down for the house but were discouraged at the thought of going through Falkirk Homes.

FacebookThe service I received from Falkirk Homes was absolutely fantastic! The video and photos were amazing and the house description was brilliant. John even worked over Christmas and New Year unlike most Estate Agents. I had my first offer within 2 days and all my messages and questions were answered very quickly. I can't recommend them enough, if you want your ad to be amazing and have someone who puts everything into selling your property, use Falkirk Homes - I have dealt with many Estate Agents and none come close to this. Highly recommended and amazing price, it has been a pleasure!
