I have recently sold my house with Exmouth Your Move Estate Agents. After 2 years of trying and failing at the last hurdle, I didn’t expect much when I changed agents to Your Move. The Branch Manager, Gary, went out of his way to help sell my house. He invested his time in getting to know my property. He personally showed potential buyers around, unlike other agents who seemed to send their more junior members of their team for first viewings. Before signing with Your Move I had lost trust in Estate Agents, Gary changed that view. Thank you to Your Move Exmouth but more importantly, thank you Gary for your time and effort to see it through to the end.

Kara from the sales team in the Exmouth office was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She made the whole process so much easier than I expected and was always just a phone call or message away if I had questions. Really friendly, down-to-earth, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Kara kept me updated every step of the way and gave honest advice, which I really appreciated. Thanks to her, everything went smoothly and stress-free. I couldn’t recommend Your Move enough if you’re looking for someone reliable and approachable!

We had a great experience moving with Your Move from the viewings all the way until completion. We mainly dealt with Garry, Matthew and then finally Kara. Garry and Matthew dealt with our enquiries and viewings, besides our first ever viewing being with Lewis who was very friendly and comfortable to be around. Garry was very helpful with our difficult purchase (nationwide were awful!) and he liased with our broker and solicitor with urgency whenever something needed updating. Matthew who has since left Your Move was really professional and gave us a lovely experience viewing our now home! Finally Kara was the one at the end of the process who phoned to tell us things we're all moving well towards our completion date and she also phoned us to tell us the keys were ready. She sounded genuinely excited for us on the phone which was really lovely, then when we collected the keys she was really chatty and seemed to have really cared about our experience. Thank you Your Move, from two happy first time buyers!

Many thanks to Josh, the lettings manager at YOUR MOVE Exmouth and equally thanks to Esamee, the lettings negotiator. Both definitely deserve a lot of praise for their help in finding me new tenants for the next year and this for BOTH of my properties. Not only did they listen exactly to all my various requirements and rent expectations, but also they went out their way to take new pictures and list the properties early in the year and all with great attention to detail. They kept me up to date with all progress made and always acted in a very professional manner. As a result, in the shortest of time, they got me new tenants for both properties for next season and at the rent levels that I was hoping for. Also they help me with any potential legal and accounting issues that I may have and do so throughout the year and hence I am really happy with their various services and their can-do approach and would highly recommend them to anyone, looking for help with all aspects of property letting, especially also with these somewhat more complex student rental properties.

Awful experience from start to finish. We were promised high standards but the team underdelivered. Extortionate maintenance fees which are managed by a separate team in Manchester. Accounts team are based in Yorkshire, so communication is complex and slow. Local branch often unaware of what is going on due to this. Tenants not vetted properly so eventually we had to pay high costs for solicitors and bailiffs. We have been awaiting a response regarding this from Josh since August. Gary himself said that if he was in our position that even he would not rent a property through the branch. We have taken our custom elsewhere.

Gary Batten is an exceptional estate agent. Gary has helped me buy a property through a “modern method of auction” recently and I have just completed and got the keys for my new home!
