We recently rented a property through Cooksleys. They were professional, friendly and walked us through the whole process. This wasn't out first time renting but it was definitely the best letting agents we have used. Nothing was too much trouble for them; relaying our questions to the landlord, providing us with information and even facilitating a virtual tour of the property when we couldn't attend the viewing in person. A special thank you to Kym who went above and beyond throughout the process and who is still a very friendly and valued contact at Cooksleys with any queries we have. Can't recommend Cooksleys highly enough!

I Want to personally thank the team they’ve been outstanding. Nothing is too much, I’ve asked a lot to get me through the purchase of our house, which became far from straight forward, but after 6 months we got there. I’m not sure I’d be able to do the job they do to be fair!! I dealt mainly with Jasmine and Duncan who were brilliant but Lynda was always there to help too ! Jasmine is the best estate agent you could possibly ever think of. She handled the purchase of my new home and she was absolutely brilliant. She is professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, she really and truly cares. She even helped me with some of my sale issues, even though I hadn't appointed her agency to sell my flat. By far the worst letting agency I have dealt with in the UK. The agent I spoke to was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dismissive, with a hostile and discriminatory tone. I called regarding the rental of a two-bedroom property and was met with abrupt and offensive responses. Having rented in several cities across the UK, I have never experienced such unprofessional behaviour. I would strongly advise avoiding this agency altogether.

Jasmine sold our large student house in 22/23. We received several offers and she handled the two most serious potential buyers in a very professional manner to achieve a successful outcome. Completion was rather slow but we were at the mercy of the solicitors for that. Throughout, Jasmine was pleasant and easy to work with. All in all, I was very happy with the service and pleased I chose her as my agent.

Cookselys are the worst of estate agents I have ever used , we rented our property from them whilst looking for a house to buy! it's a shame that the service was so poor because some of the house they had on the market was really nice. However was not worth the stress the staff have put me and partner through! This includes the owners who was I would I would say had less customer services skills then anyone else. It is clear that Mark and Nicola ( The owners ) are only worried about the money you pay them and after that they couldn't care less and are worried about who they are going to charge next. Throughout our 6 month tenancy , which we finished early because we couldn't bare to deal with the estate agents any longer. We have had no water for days on end more then once, water leaks, no hot water, threats of extra charges for routine maintenance that is the responsibility of the landlord. we have been hung up and spoken to rudely to by the owners, on top of what ever else I can't think of right now. Honestly if your looking for an estate agents that will treat you with divinity , respect and look after you, I would go elsewhere. to top this all off, during our final month renting from Cookselys. one of the members of staff have been into our house. ripped off the oven door (rendering the oven unusable) meaning for the second time for the duration of our stay we had no oven ( This time for a month) when I called and spoke to mark ( the owner his response when mentioned this to him as it was a member of staff he has arranged to visit the property that broke the oven was "Right???" ) it goes to show how little respect he has for tenants and landlords. Tenants and Landlords! if you want a good experience with an estate agents. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere, I can't stress this enough! though I'm sure this review will get deleted as I've had friends leave negative reviews which strangely go missing. Can’t recommend Cooksleys enough. Duncan was so friendly when he came to value our house; so complimentary in fact I had second thoughts about selling. He was happy to have our input with photos and description and got the details released very quickly. Lots of viewings we’re booked in, and conveniently arranged to assist with having to vacate the house with 2 small children. Once we had accepted an offer (6 days after it first went online) Jasmine was amazing at being the go too person for any questions or concerns we had. First time moving into a flat, I really didn't know what I was doing. Mark was on hand when I viewed the property and was very professional as it is during the lockdown to stay outside whilst we viewed and had abti vac on the stairs, was very helpful to answer questions whilst outside and keeping the 2 metres. Then I bombarded Kim with lots of of questions which she must have heard a billion times before but was very helpful. As well as phoning Kym I also emailed and she was so prompt at replying always within a couple of hours but mostly even less! I couldn't be happier with the service that I received from Cooksleys. The photos looked great. I had viewings booked in pretty instantly and I was always informed of the potential buyers position. I received feedback after each viewing for which I was grateful. I was soon under offer at price higher than I thought would be achieved. Communication between myself and my buyer via Cooksleys was swift and efficient. We exchanged in less than 8 weeks. I would certainly use Cooksleys again and I highly recommend them to others.
