I discovered Connells through word of mouth by a friend who recently bought their first property through them. As a first time buyer myself, I thought I would give them a go. Speaking on the phone, one of the agents was very friendly and asked me exactly what I was looking for in a property. Knowing nothing about mortgages, I was invited in to branch to speak to their mortgage advisor Chris. He helped me find the best mortgage deal, better than I originally thought I could get. Seeing Chris also put me on something they call the premier buyers list which meant I got info on the newest properties first. 3 days later they phoned me about a house in broadclyst and took me on a viewing to which I ended up buying! They made my first home purchase very special and ended up saving me money along the way. I highly recommend them as an estate agent! Thanks Connells!

After being on the market with an online agent I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and communication. Nathan Butt the manager of Connells Exeter knocked on my door and was a breath of fresh air, he re motivated me. Stay clear from Connells, all they’re interested in is taking money off you and pressuring you into using their services to better your chances of getting an offer accepted on a property. No help whatsoever when the sellers pull out for no reason and leaving us £700 out of pocket.

Awful, I booked a viewing with them @ 10am, my partner was supposed to be working so had to lose his shift. We waited outside the property for 15 mins before phoning to be told all phones are on divert and the best we could do was leave a message. We waited another 15 mins in the rain before leaving and we still haven't heard from them. Avoid these guys they're a waste of time!

I came into contact with Connells, whilst i went into their office while in Exeter. I was greeted by a young man called Cameron, he was polite and spent a lot of time with me regarding the area. Due to not knowing the area he spent the time explaining all the areas and sights, He made me feel at home and eventually found a stunning property for me.

Dreadful experience. Booked a viewing, no one from connells showed up, and then when I phoned to ask where they were, they lied about calling ‘multiple times’ and leaving messages. I don’t understand how they sell any properties.

Had a one of a kind experience renting through connells. Our letting agent "luke" was absolutely fantastic, very helpful, did his work with a smile and no job was to big. Truly dreadful estate agents - misleading and do not use their in-house solicitors, however hard they push you! Didn’t realise the agents and solicitors had made a fundamental error in the house purchase until the day before exchange (after a four month legal process) and this led the house sale to fall through, disappointing myself and the vendor. DO NOT USE.

Do not use this estate agents they are the most unprofessional team I have delt with .my daughter moved in to a rented property and had to wait all day for the keys had 45 minutes to move out and return keys at 5.45 pm then they took two payments from her account for deposit without her permission . Be warned do not rent from them

Connells let a few of my rental properties and it always felt like they accepted the first tenant that came along. This has resulted in some tenants getting into rental arrears and on top of that, their admin is terrible. I'm still asking for missing documents for a property let 6 months ago! They don't seem to care about the client, just the money. Best avoided.
